Total aircraft spotted during 2017 = over 2700. Taking my total seen to over 66300.
During January to September 2017 visits were made to the following airports / airfields in England, Scotland and Wales.
AIRPORTS :-
Aberdeen, Birmingham, Blackpool, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Carlisle, Coventry, Dundee, Edinburgh, Exeter, Farnborough, Luton, Manchester, Stansted.
AIRFIELDS :-
Abergavenny, Abbotts Bromley, Alrewas, Blackbushe, Booker ( Aero Expo ), Branscombe, Broadmeadow Farm, Chirk, Cosford, Cranfield, Cumbernauld, Dunkeswell, Fairoaks,
Halfpenny Green, Henstridge, Hinton in the Hedges, Kemble, Kemmeys Commander, Kidlington, Lasham, Leuchars, Llandegla, Llantsilio, Lleweni Park, Long Marston, Lutterworth,
North Hill, Peterhead, Perth, Popham ( Microlight Trade Fair ), Rhigos, Roddige, Shobdon, Sleap, St.Athan, Staverton, Stoke Golding, Streethay, Sywell ( LAA Rally ), Tatenhill, Turweston,
Usk, Wellesbourne Mountford, Welshpool, Weston Zoyland, Whiterashes, Yarcombe, Yeovil, Yeovilton.
The following airfields were visited for the Gliding Competitions taking place :-
Aston Down, Bidford, Bicester, Dunstable Downs, Gransden Lodge, Husbands Bosworth, Shennington.
A New Years Eve 2017 visit was made to Liverpool and Prees.
A total of 73 airports and airfields visited in 2017.

Bob The 5000 less miles due to no visits after Sywell until New Years Eve. Sue now better so should start visits again soon. NB. The North Wales sites are not far from you, we found them friendly. The first two letters of the sites as above begin with "Ll". Les

Thanks Bob. Emlyn is a great bloke. He let us walk through the sheep in the field to get down to the aircraft. The only problem was making sure our grandson did not step in the loads of sheep sh**. Les
