There have been two Air Senegal ATR 72's routing over Cornwall today. 6V-AMS and 6V-ASN both routed up from Toulouse to Lands End, then turned right and routed across Dartmoor ant turned right again at Torquay before returning to Toulouse. Both were around 24k feet but due to the cloud neither were visible to me. The first passed over Truro at about 4 p.m. The second was about an hour later. According to another web site both the aircraft were delivered in December so not sure why they were routing over the U.K.

Although built in September / October last year, both are recorded as having been in storage at Toulouse.
Routing of aircraft into U.K. airspace often allows legal documents e.g. ownership or leases, to be signed, if there’s a U.K. interest.
I remember some SAA A330s routing via the U.K. Coast on their delivery flights for a similar reason. Remember ZS-SXW routing coastwise via SAM on a clear summer evening, before dropping south at DVR.
