Also Lithuanian Mil 8 and L.39 were previously confirmed. A good start indeed! Wonder if the Atlantique will make it his year...?!

Bought the early bird advance tickets on line for me and the GLW on the 31st January. Last year's show really got her hooked and she actually asked me before Christmas whether there'd be a show this year and if so, "can we go?". Let's hope for as equally good weather as last year.

Half tempted with Yeovilton now, but what with RIAT / Legends / FIA all in the same 2 weeks its getting harder to justify me being out to the wife...

My missus came to Yeovilton with me last year and had a wonderful time to the extent she asked me on the way home if we'd be going this year.

PARTICIPATION UPDATE F-16AM Fighting Falcon – Royal Danish Air Force (Flying)
We are excited to announce that another international fast jet has been confirmed - the Royal Danish Air Force’s F-16AM Fighting Falcon! Its display last year at Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton was memorable indeed and now, it’s coming back - fast, aggressive and full of flares! It will be joining the Greek F-16, French Navy Rafales, Canadian Hornet, Czech Gripen and many more in our five-plus-hour flying programme!

Gutted as i'm going to miss this one, i can't get the day off work.
It's shaping up to be a real corker, why does there have to be so many big airshows all in the space of 2 weeks ? can't they space them out a little please...

I've been going to Yeovilton pretty much every year since 1970 and I really can't recall ever seeing anything as big as a KDC-10 in the static - it really will dwarf even a C17 if one turns up. I've seen a 747 display here before but it never landed and AN124 visits are never on show days. I stand to be corrected but I suspect the KDC10 is the largest they've ever had on the showground
Cheers

They have had C-5As in the static before, Keith. From my logs:-
70-0448 was there in 1980 70-0445 was there in 1982

Several additions today
Sea King Asac7 flypast with Wildats and Sea Fury to open the show.
Sea Fury and MiG-15UTI flying together(to “reenact” the downing of a Mig 15 by a Sea Fury!)
A second Sea Fury on static.
RAF Chinook flying.
Fouga Zephyr and MS Paris flying solo routines then flypast with Rafales.

I reckon that with 617 Sqn deploying 9 x F35 to their new home base at Marham in June, there is a good chance that we might also see a Yeovilton debut for the F35. Other forums are talking about up to 4 F35's participating in the two RAF100 flypasts but I know that's speculation till it's officially announced.
