hi,
further to posts about TAC CODES, this morning on sbs I had CLAW41 - AE178D, and SHIFTY21 no mode s, now on GAS AE178D came up as no info... I then put ADS-B Mil on and CLAW41 was showing as 91-0602, and SHIFTY21 as 91-0309.
Also on ADS-B was CLAW4400 and PANTHR11 but no serials, they must have been in the mac-loop and over mid Wales this was about 1020.
regards, dave...

SHIFTY21 was hex AE17AA.
CLAW4400 was AE17B0 which should be 92-0364.

CLAW41 has just passed over South Staffs heading East, a group of 4 x F15E (including 91-0602 as showing on ADS-B)

hi, so, do we know why some F.15's use any of a block of TAC-CODES and others use a identifiable one?

It is purely a question as to whether the hex-to-serial tie-up has been entered in the relevant tracking site database.
The Lakenheath F-15 hex-to-serial tie-up is known - but they don't always stick to it!!
