The McDonnell 188 was merely a "cover" designation for the basic Breguet 941, and McDonnell had signed up for licensed production thereof, but no orders were forthcoming.
Breguet only built the one Breguet 941 (#01 - which is this one) and I have actually seen it (unfortunately my logs from then have gone, so I can't say when or where!!).
The four improved version (Breguet 941S) served with the French AF for a few years and were then retired.

Great video, really enjoyed it, especially the sound track!
If anyone would like to see an actual specimen, a Breguet 941S is displayed at the Ailes Anciennes Museum in Toulouse. It’s not the best of shape but it’s very definitely viewable...

Yep, that is #3.
#4 is with the Musee de l'Air and should be stored on the far side of Le Bourget (where I saw it in 1977).
