Here we are on the 3rd of the month, and no-one has created the monthly thread! Must be a reflection of the weather.
Welcome blue skies today but not much of interest on offer apart from my first 787-10 N17002 of United UA926 SFO-FRA. D-AIWD relatively new Lufthansa 320 was a LHR departure, SP-RSD 738 Ryanair heading for BRS was a scrape. A6-EVH is over the Atlantic on the EK232 IAD-DXB - will it beat the cloud cover coming from the west?
(Edit) the cloud won. Was taken by surprise by Afriquiyah 320 5A-ONA which departed LHR on the 8U-333 - is this a regular flight or a one-off? Did not need it, seen at LGW on 07/10/2007.

Hi Jerry. I created it on the morning of the 1st.....
From memory, some of the guys posted their logs from the final day of January on Feb 1st so they would have clicked on the link to revert to January, so that's presumably what would have been showing on the daily blog sub section when you came to use it. If you'd clicked on "January 2019" that was showing, it would have given you the option to also post on the February section.

Jerry
5A-ONA was a VIP flight, arrived empty and departed with three passengers (according to local list).

After a few days not troubling the scorer a few on the scoreboard today
89-1191 Boeing C-17 P5 United States Air Force UNK>UNK; FL300 A6-EQB Boeing 777 300ER 42347 Emirates Airline ORD>DXB; FL350 A7-AFG Airbus A330 243F 1584 Qatar Airways Inbound LHR D-AIGL Airbus A340 313X 135 Lufthansa SAN>FRA; FL370 G-TTNH Airbus A320 251NSL 8489 British Airways Inbound LHR
The C-17 trailing nicely westbound over London probably the pick of the bunch but good to get the latest (I think) BAW TTNx.

Biggest 'out of the window' haul for a long time today. The LATAM and UPS freighters trailing nicely side-by-side as I walked back to the station this evening. Probably need to make the most of it because the weather forecast holds little prospect of adding to the tally tomorrow.

After a couple of blank days, made a couple of LHR visitors, G-NEOS 321N British Airways BA554 and EC-NBE 359 Iberia IB3166. Missed N607UP 748F and 9V-SGF 359ER due to patchy cloud, was watching The Chase when D-AIWE new Lufthansa 320 went overhead on LHR departure - can’t be watching the radar 24/7!

Scrap the Alaskan. Its going up North (to Prestwick?) ......would have been my 190th USAF C-17.
EDIT:- Did the Whitehaven (Cumbria) - Mablethorpe (Lincs) routing for Ramstein. Most antisocial, but I guess that FL290 was not available over the South (or they did not want its cargo overflying the South).
