Just caught the Air China A350 B-1081 last night in failing light. It passed a patch of light sky about 2 minutes before total darkness. Let’s hope this service continues to be reasonably on time.

Today was Chinese day at LHR, made B-1081 350 Air China, B-1128 789 China southern and B-7667 789 Hainan. Also RP-C3507 350 Philippines and D-AINR 320neo Lufthansa.
CN-RGC 788 Royal Air Maroc was a surprise visitor to LHR on the AT800/1, according to FR24 should be a 788 tomorrow and April 11/13.
Finally made F-GKXC 320 Air France, gap filler routing BHX-CDG, recently returned to Europe after Caribbean duties.

LHR on 09 all day, but low cloud obscured all arrivals including CN-RGT 788 Royal Air Maroc and OH-LTS 330 Finnair (my last one). However it did lift sufficiently to allow me to see B-1297 789 China Southern on departure - my 500th 787 frame.
A very brief break in the clouds revealed N14001 787-10 United on the UA961 FRA-SFO, trailing at FL340.

Bloody weather forecasters, apart from MP's they must be the only people who do their job very poorly and still get paid, the forecast for my neck of the woods yesterday was a cloudy start but getting brighter during the day leading to a decent afternoon, total rubbish again,we had about 5 mins decent weather before it all got socked in again,it did enable one to be logged:
A7-CGR Gulfstream 500
Todays forecast was again a cloudy start with the weather clearing up about 8am and staying decent until about 6pm so off I trundle to Popham for their flyin, the weather remained crap until about 11am but by 12 noon it was all socked in again so yet again another Popham flyin falls foul of the weather, just hope it improves for the Microlight Trade Fair in 4 weeks time.
Wasn't a complete waste and during the brief bit of decent weather we did see the Aer Lingus ATR flight into Southampton from Cork and it was one of the two I needed EI-FAW.

Missed (again!) the Hungarian Falcon 7X.

Complete blank today, forecast cloud clearances did not materialise. Did not bother to have radar on all day, but LHR visitors I know I missed include N841AN 789 American AA46/87, B-8865 330 Shenzhen ZH9067/8 and B-1086 350 Air China CA855/6. OTT needed included N330QT 330F Avianca Cargo QT4046 BRU-MIA.

Yes, on 09 all day and plenty of goodies on offer, but cloud base too low to see anything from home. Needed frames included N841AN 789 American AA46/87 (again), A6-BLY 789 Etihad EY13/14, HL8359 350 Asiana OZ521/2, B-207V 789 Hainan HU421/2 and B-1080 350 Air China CA855/6.
Only overhead OTT noted of interest was the latest El Al 789 4X-EDJ on the LY32.

More low cloud, but unlike yesterday not much of interest on LHR09. Cleared late to reveal B-307C 350 Air China CA855 and G-UZHX 320N easyJet inbound LTN, but thickened up again to prevent me seeing needed 4X-ICD 744F CAL Cargo heading for LGG.

Just enough cloud lifting to see the Air China 350, and the EVA B-16718. The wind briefly swung round to be from the West here last evening, but Heathrow is back on the pesky 09s today!
