The third month of the year, thoughts of the Spring Equinox, the start of British Summer Time, planning summer holidays and a real desire that this bloody awful weather will hopefully come to an end very soon.....

Just hope things improve over last month - which was just two and both on the same day (5th)!!

A trip up to Fairford early this afternoon netted me "DRAGON31" U-2S 80-1085 just after its arrival. This should be on a Westbound transit back to Beale AFB, CA
There was no sign of either of the two resident ones (68-10337 and 80-1071), but one of them was out on a mission anyway.

A couple of good ones yesterday, B777 TC-LJS easily visible way to my south trailing eastbound over Southampton and then the USAF C-146 97-3093 which sailed past Devizes to my north at FL290 but was in direct line of sight with an LHR inbound BA 787 which enabled me to find her with the bins

Today’s highlights so far. Air Transat A321 C-GOIH on climbout from Gatwick, Swiss Airforce Challenger T-752 leaving Biggin Hill and CRJ ES-ACI operating for SAS on its second visit to Heathrow today (having missed the first because of low cloud).
Air Lanka recently used an A332 rather than A333, and SAS using leased CRJ....are we seeing a growing pattern of smaller equipment being used to deal with reduced loadings caused by the virus?

Unsurprisingly, I popped up to Fairford to make two of the B-2As 82-1070 and 88-0332.
The other one 82-1068 has been to Fairford five times in six years now:-
2015 - Global Power "gas & go" mission, but it went tech and stayed for a few days before departing back to Whiteman. 2017 - Deployment in June 2018 - Fly-by at RIAT 2019 - Deployment in August/September 2020 - Deployment in March
And it has been across before those times, too.
