First for the month, most unexpected: 165812 E-2C USN "GH11" Looked out the wrong time.
Oh well, that is now 6 I have missed already this month that I would/should have got otherwise - The previous 5 (all in the 'Hall) were 1x KC-135R (58-0067), my last KC-10A (86-0031) and the 3x "ADMAN" HC-130Js (09-5709/DM, 11-5719/DM and 12-5769/FT).

See you saw VP-CES - interesting it got to 41k off lands end (Too high for a simple air test ) and turned round - wondered if it had its landing permission revoked wherever it was heading to - following on from the legacy that went to Marseille last week and got sent back to Farnborough with its rather dubious passengers!

Think that was the chally that came out of Farnboro ahead of VP-CES - It did some circuits at Newquay and returned to Farnborough

Rather lean skies over Wiltshire this past few days but at least the glorious weather has made up for the lack of traffic.
A couple of scrapes on the 9th in the shape of A330 B-LHA and GLEX N94FX
On the 9th I potted my final Etihad B777 A6-DDF as she sailed past on her way to Frankfurt. E35L XA-FUF was a very good addition to the logs and then yesterday, two frames in the shape of BE20 LX-FPP which seems to have been doing survey work and Qatari AF C-17 MAP outbound from STN. I had already seen MAN back in 2016.
The good lady did however put my services to good work, we have a 20ft section of garden beyond the shed and greenhouse which had become full of brambles, weeds and general garden rubbish so I got stuck into it yesterday morning. After four hours I had removed most of the brambles, some of which had stems an inch and a half wide and had also removed most of the skin on my arms and legs. But the long lost polytunnel was revealed in all its glory along with, unfortunately, a couple of snapped fence posts and accompanying panels from the gales a couple of months ago.
