Morning Chaps,
Need to clear up the remainder of November...
23rd. From Home. I-SEAR Falcon 900EX (arr FAB 10.24) A7-BHG B787-9 Qatar (ex LHR 12.57)
Saw USAF B757/C-32B heading West at 15.12, Reach 583. Was pinging 02-5001, does anyone have a confirmation?
24th. From Home. 2-SEXY A-109 (o/f 11.35) N872AN B787-9 American (OTT 12.14) 281 PC-12 IAC (OTT 13.22) (Ear-popping FL300 and trailing) EC-NIR Metro 3 Flightline
25th. From Home. N884SG Gulf 550 (OTT 12.39)
From Heathrow. G-VRNB A350 Virgin (359th) B-7185 B777 China Southern (1492nd)
26th. From Home. TC-LGA A350 Turkish
From Heathrow. JA844J B787-8 JAL 4K-AZ85 A340-5 Azerbaijan (385th)
27th. Heathrow. JA830J B787-8 JAL
29th. Heathrow. JA831J B787-8 JAL B-1567 B787-9 Xiamen
30th. Heathrow. B-2763 B787-8 Xiamen (727th...)
As you can see there was a late flurry of B787’s at Heathrow from Japan and China, afraid I couldn’t resist them. Me, alone in the car, there - see them - then back home...
Made 78 frames and 24 scrapes in November... Still way down on recent years but not too bad under the circumstances....

Hi Bill FCG confirms the C-32 on the 23rd as 02-5001 Thanks G, did they mention which c/n by any chance? Its pretty crucial as they (USAF) use one of three frames for this serial... Talk about secret squirrel... Cheers mate. Bill

Hi Bill, they only use two frames - either N226G (msn 25491) or N610G (msn 29304).
After 2013, this used to be the situation :- - 98-6006 was always N610G........................12 windows and small straight scuff plate under doors - 99-6143 was always N226G........................13 windows and large wrap-around scuff plate under doors - 02-5001 could be either N226G or N610G
Since 98-6006 disappeared from use in May 2018, 02-5001 has always been N610G (msn 29304).

Where does the airframe (msn 25494)ex N987AN come into the equation which has been quoted as 00-9001 which was at Ramstein 23rd Aug 2020 and Brize Norton. in April 2016,and also has the 13 windows and large wrap-around scuff plate as well. I have never been sure which "One" was at Brize then.
Hope you can shed some light on the consnstant ID question ?

Hi Michael
MSN 25493 is 02-4452 MSN 25494 is 00-9001
These two are totally fixed tie-ups and are operated by 150SOS/108WG/NJ ANG out of McGuire AFB, NJ used for totally legitimate business. These are the two openly acknowledged by the USAF.
They are nothing whatever to do with the other two airframes which operate out of Eglin AFB, FL by (supposedly) 486FLTS/46TW - or, of course, by Comco (i.e. L3) when they use their civilian registrations.
