Plenty blue skies to get a few aircraft today and enough showers to prevent me getting my washing dry. Tomorrow might be reasonable as well. I was going to Manchester Monday for the Cyprus AW A319 but that's been cancelled.

December 2020 has been quiet for me, no Christmas do this year, just a couple of drinks with colleagues in a pub near Cheltenham ( although I work from home, my boss is in MOD Cheltenham, and so I am classed as a key worker )
but two days ago i started to feel really fatigued, it was just too much of an effort to go downstairs and make a coffee, so I followed the guidance, and also notified my employers who were brilliant, within 4 hours of my sending the e-mail to my boss, the army were on my doorstep and gave me a covid test, which came back within 45 mins as positive, the army doctors stayed with me throughout, made sure i had all paracetamol and all common cold remedies which they say helps, now my dad has to drive me to RNAS Culdrose which is the nearest MOD Hospital, and according to the Army Doctors I will admitted as an "in-patient"
Uhm Christmas dinner in Hospital
Not much Cheers

So sorry Adrian, I'm sure I speak for all AFA members when I wish you a speedy recovery. Such a shame that Princess Alexandra Hospital at Wroughton was demolished all those years ago, they served both forces and the civilian population and they saved the life of my then father-in-law after he had a heart attack,

I was feeling rough on the 21st and could only manage to get a test (localy) on the 23rd, my test came back positive yesterday evening, now isolating until the new year. I hope you get over this horrible virus soon and wish you a speedy recovery... I too am a key worker but it didn't seem to cut much ice with the local authorities, as they suggested a trip to Gosport ( tier 4, from Isle of Wight tier 1 ) Take care and regards Chris

My youngest son was also tested positive 8 days ago, the worst he’s had is a sore throat which has now past and he’ll be okay to ‘come out’ the day after tomorrow... I sincerely hope you’re infection will be as brief and as minor as Harry’s. Hope the food is okay, I’m sure it will be. Hope you’ll see a few Merlin’s... Best of luck mate. Bill
