Morning Dave, Sounds/looks like my log. Nothing since 3rd for me... My 2021 log looks like this. 2nd January - from Home.G-VTEA A350 Virgin - going into LHR 09.28. SE-ROL A320N SAS - OTT heading South 11.23 PZ-TCU B777-2 Surinam - OTT heading West 12.40 9H-QEO B737 Ryanair - OTT heading South 12.43 3rd Jan - from home.F-GZHZ B737 Transavia France - OTT heading to DUB 12.50 So that’s it for me Dave, 2 frames and 3 scrapes.... And it’s now day 9 and 7 of those without any logging.... Not even a sneaky run up to LHR, FAB, BBS or Fairoaks - shocking. Roll on some half decent weather and we’d all have something to smile about... Cheers mate, stay safe. Bill

A busy day over the Shropshire hills today with plenty sunshine although a few banks of cloud appeared around midday to knock the total down a little. 11 frames & 2 scrapes. I put an alert on FR24 for G-STBP so I made it out of bed in time to see it go over just as the clouds were clearing

Clear blue skies here in Devizes this morning, but a big zero yesterday and nothing of interest around this morning so far.

So am I...just 7 miles down the road. LOL.
Think the problem is that I live on a river "flood plain" and Graham is on the top of a hill - several hundred feet higher.

Same here Dave, although I did actually see two Farnborough arrivals beneath this s**t, sadly both regular Vistajets!!! 🤦 Anyway, it’s an improvement, of sorts, but I’m now on 8 out of 10 days without a scrape/pot... Fingers crossed.... Bill

I have a theory as to why we get a lot of low cloud here on the Berkshire/Hampshire border,I think it's all the s**t coming out of the AWE @ Aldermaston,God knows what they let into the atmosphere.

No diffrent here mate, wall to wall clag. Might see the sun on Friday? Only over flight I made this week was quite suprising. Was working for a couple of days in Ipswich and on Wednesday I saw a trail and FR24 said it was the Aeroflot 777 out of the row at 33k! Amazed it got that high that quickly. Apart from that made 11 at LHR on Monday and three at Farnborough. Rob

The cloud cover lifted enough to catch 2 Heathrow arrivals on Monday. Virgin A350 G-VTEA and Aegean A321n SX-NAB. When are we going to see those blue skies that made the first lockdown bearable?

Indeed R R, I was furloughed for all of May and June last year, the weather was fabulous throughout with blue skies for most of the time. I suppose we can't ask for that in January.....;0(

Not much to report from here either, drew blanks on the 10th and 11th, was fortunate to see Delta A339 N406DX heading west on the 12th, and nothing yesterday.
Sister ship N403DX is currently on the deck at AMS and is due out later for JFK, fingers crossed she will take a southerly route AND this clag lifts.

Well, the clag has lifted for me this afternoon and with it came this year's 1st two items worth logging - including one for the spreadsheets!!
"ZZ419" ZZ419 Shadow........on test flight from Hawarden..............much appreciated as it is (finally!) my last one (for the moment) "CNV6508" 169533 KC-130J.......trailing up TR1 to go into Ramstein......unusual for a USMC machine to use a USN callsign

Morning Folks,
Well the muck finally cleared around lunchtime and the sun actually came out and blue sky appeared...
So on went the radar, the bin’s were dusted off and the log and biro got busy!!
G-MCGJ S-92 Coast Guard (went east at 13.57 and west a bit later) - seeing this, after 12 days of nothing, felt like my birthday! JA734A 777 ANA C-GEGP A330 Air Canada B-1042 A330 Capital A6-EVN A380 Emirates 9H-IAR CL605 (into FAB)
So I’m finally back in the game...
Today is pretty much back to normal but the forecast for tomorrow looks quite promising - fingers crossed!
Good luck.

Just the one for me again yesterday even though the weather started behaving itself after lunchtime, that being GLF4 N520GP. Today has cleared up from the gloom at 8am when we dragged our sorry backsides out from the pit and it's now clear skies. Delta A339 N402DX went OTT heading west for JFK earlier but I didn't need her, even so, it's good to see something in the air.
