Missed the Honduran due to cloud in the wrong place, but did see (8 minutes earlier) "RCH1041" - the Eastbound C-146A Wolfhound 97-3093 routing Shannon to Stuttgart.
U-2S 80-1080 is returning from a lengthy stay at Akrotiri, having been replaced yesterday by 80-1081. Need both and neither came anywhere near me.

Finally in February, Sunshine and Aircraft at the same time. The LOT B787 took a shortcut and came right overhead at 41k. A photo with a 1200m lens enabled me to read the regn from under the wing. 7 in the book so a good day.

Blue skies! But seems to be a day of seen but not needed. C17 03-3126 trailed nicely and Thai are sending another B777-200, HS-TJV. Shame neither are needed.

Hi Phil,
Despite what was showing on ADS-B, it wasn't 03-3126, but the Mississippi ANG 03-3119 - taken from its transatlantic Inmarsat plots on PP which give the true identity. Perhaps you need that one?

That's rotten luck Bob, it sailed through the blue here although for me, it's a scrape as I saw it as a Pan American machine N870PA in 1972

What a difference 7 miles and a few hundred feet in relative elevation make. There was zero blue here.
As for N870PA, yes I would have seen that back in the day, as I saw all their 707s bar one of the -121s that was w/o before I had a chance to see it.

A mixed day, despite the mainly clear skies. Global M-ONEY into Biggin Hill, and trailing B777 D-AALM made for a good start. Then with a short faint trail at FL260, AN12 EW484TI droned across London on its return journey, having passed too far to the East on its outbound leg. I need to check Planebase to see if this is a new frame, as it has several previous identities. 2 more Biggin visitors came next, C182 G-BCWB and Praetor G-FHFX. FinallyA320 9-BTI trailed over Surrey, but is an old frame, formerly the Air Malta retro machine. Annoyingly, EK31/32 today was a B777 I needed, but clouds on approach and a northerly departure left this one needed for another day.

Saturday was a day for quality rather than quantity. It started with Challenger AP-FFL into Biggin Hill, then the Singapore ULR A350, 9V-SGC with a nice trail. Another Challenger T7-MASHI called in to Biggin Hill for fuel on delivery. My final Alitalia, B777 EI-ISD headed north, before Silkway B747 4K-SW800 visited Heathrow. PC12 2-FLYT into Biggin made for a happy half dozen for the day.
