Ladies & Gents I have responded to a request for c/ns for SU-29's which i should come up with after work, in that response I said "I was busy in Work". The reason I post this message is I work as a self employed software developer, and work exclusively for a government department based in Cheltenham, Glos. Over the previous 7 days there has been a spate of cyber attacks of a malicious nature. These attacks take the form of what we call "User Induced Malware", so basically what is happening is a USB drive is being left outside the target premises, it will be invariably labelled as "Test Results" or "Naked Beach Babes" just any label that will entice a user to plug the USB into their computers. Over the previous 7 days this has affected a major road haulage company, a large UK airline based in Crawley, and a Royal Navy Frigate. In consultation with my colleagues in the Metropolitan Police, this is now being treated as a terrorist attack. Bottom Line if you find a USB Stick in the car park of your place of work do not under circumstances insert the USB Stick into a computer. Contact your IT Department and advise of a Malware attack. if you need any further advice visit our website www.ncsc.gov.uk/section/about-ncsc/incident-managementIf you are in any further doubt, just post a message, and I'll help Cheers Adrian

Well I think this week was the worst week of my career, we had to deal with multiple threats and a major computer upgrade in work is looming, and we are nowhere near ready. To make matters even worse it's my payday today, so i went with a trusted colleague into Plymouth to buy a ring for my girlfriend, and then chickened out, so a quick phone call later to one of my female colleagues resulted in "if you if you don't do it I'll have Devon and Cornwall police arrest you on some charge or other " (some people forget who their boss is). So back we went, ring duly purchased, now all i have to do is pluck up the courage to go-to Truro, meet her after work, and well I'm not really sure about that, I can take any foreign countries hackers on head to head, but I think I need a beer or ten before getting on the train to Truro, I will endeavour to answer the Russian queries as quickly as possible, but this week has just been madness work wise.
Cheers
Adrian

Strangely (following on from above) SF340 ES-NSE was the first scrape of the day making its way into Biggin Hill. Later visitors were Irish Air Corps PC12 283 for a touch and go, plus 2 visits from Marin12, an army Wildcat ZZ403, which was a replacement for the predicted snd needed ZZ404. Sandwiched between these was MEA’s A321n T7-ME5.

Thought the Tui on delivery was going to be my only cop of the day, despite the wall to wall blue skies, but after a couple of hours in the garden a further three entered the book, making four for the day, which I was well happy with:- N284DH- 767 Kalitta Eastbound to AMS nice trail N280PH- Gulfstream 5 southbound nice trail HA-LYX- A320 Wizz inbound LPL - Missed it last week whilst celebrating my beloved blues win against the enemy from across the park. Sunday Morning and it's wall to wall blue again, but nothing of note heading our way. Stay safe Bob
