Same here Bob, awful weather on Wed/Thu/Fri, nothing but heavy rain and strong gales. Our back garden grass was so long, I just had to cut it despite it ( the grass) being soaking wet. The dogs were coming in soaking wet and of course, the long grass made it rather difficult to clear up after them. We have quite a large back garden but fortunately the grassed area is about 30ft x 30ft, even so, that produced 14 basket loads of clippings....;0)

After nearly 3 days of non stop wind & rain it did brighten up late yesterday afternoon/evening and as a result one was logged:
EC-NLM CRJ200 Air Nostrum (LPL-TLS)
Today had started off with wall to wall sunshine but that has already gone and we've had some rain already, looks like a day of watching footie on Sky again.

Had a nice afternoon out yesterday. After a morning watching football and luckily spotting the Polish C-130 into Farnborough, I then had my second jab.
Then I rushed up to Old Warden for the Chipmunk 75th Anniversary event. There were supposed to be about 70 Chipmunks booked in but not surprisingly the weather stopped many from attending. However, 32 or 33 still managed to attend which made for a great event and a great sight, especially when 16 of them lined up for departure and carried out a flypast. It was also nice to get round the Shuttleworth collection- I hadn’t been in a few years so made a few.
Then it was a a quick drive-by at a quiet Luton and a brief stop at Heathrow, then home.
A nice afternoon- I’ll post logs later- and was grateful to all involved to be able to feel that things were slowly returning to normal!!

Poseidon ZP805 is operating out of Brize today (25th) and tomorrow (26th), so was very pleased when it came over the house today on its way down to Newquay.
While I was outside "VALINT61/62" ZZ511/ZZ395 went over, heading to Benson and East Anglia. Neither needed unfortunately.
