Daddy duties combined with my birthday yesterday meant only one went in the book, which a few people seem to have made... 58-0069 KC135 RCH737.
Lovely day today, Mother Grant got me a new UKQR so that should be fun logging up from my previous one in 2014 - I've only just finished marking up AFQR 2021!! Hopefully a few numbers can get into the log today...
Stay safe, Putin getting ready to press his magic bang button..? Time will tell.

Friday was a stay at home day- and as far as the weather was concerned it was an up and down one- but despite the latter managed to add 7 to the monthly total which helped with a number of flights seen heading to Edinburgh for the Scotland v France Egg chasers game on Saturday:- 9H-LMH- A320 Lauda (Europe) west to DUB SP-ESG- 737-8 Enter Air south out of EDI EC-NON- A320 Volotea south out of EDI 9H-NEC- A320N Air Malta south out of EDI OK-TSO- 737-8 Smartwings south out of EDI G-TAWY- 737-7 Tui inbound MAN 9H-NEO- A320N Air Malta North to EDI Missed at least another three or four which would have put me into double figures but well happy with 7. Another half decent day weather wise on Saturday allowed the following six to enter the book:- HA-LZC- A321N Wizz inbound LPL 9V-SWW- 777 Singapore westbound P4-GVV- G5 eastbound N593CG- A320 for Smart Lynx to EMA (Cn 5931) A7-CGE- G650 westbound LN-LOL- C208 west to Newtonards Also a good performance by my beloved blues against Man City, a pity the VAR people did not agree that we should have had a penalty like everyone else in the human race- in my opinion the system is corrupt. And relax!!!!! Sunday and a lovely morning with wall to wall blue stuff and one already in the book. Happy Days Bob

The wall to wall blue here has changed with a bit of cotton wool clouds coming in- but have made four so far- fingers crossed for a few more this afternoon. Happy Days Bob

The follwing seen from a vsist to my local airfield at Sleap and G-DHLY, N623FE from home just before it got dark. I had seen what was at EDI for the Rugby and only needed the German AW ERJ and the 9A 737 which I managed to get. This leaves me with 117 for the month. I doubt that I will add to that tomorrow.

Morning Chris I got M-EDZE at Farnborough a couple of weeks ago, cn 9097 and it is ex M-ALSH (amongst other things). Blackswan and has nothing about it going back to M-ALSH so I'd imagine 'ZE is your bird... Cheers mate.

Morning all, according to PlaneBase M-ALSH was reregistered on 18/6/19 as M-EDZE, then on 5/9/20 it became T7-LASM until 21/8/21 when it became M-EDZE once again. The Sun reported M-EDZE is being the bizjet that was taking Elton John to New York which developed hydraulic issues and returned to FAB. No idea whether that is the case or now, after all, it was the Sun.

Last day of February brought continuous aqua and cloud cover which as you guessed gave me a nil return- but did make 72 in the month of February which took me to 153 for the year well pleased with that seeing have not been anywhere- only made 184 till the end of April last year- so that looks like it will be smashed as two full months to get 31. Plans for 2022- Aero-Expo and RIAT so far also going to see the Killers at the Arsenal in June, so may get something in that weekend- but the world is my lobster as I am now retired- just need my beloved to finish her treatment then more plans can be put in place. But the first day of March looks good currently with nice blue skies- and Manchester using 05 but nothing of note occurring at the moment. Happy Days Bob

Afternoon guys,
Well February 2022 was a definite improvement on the previous year for me too. In fact, just checking my logs since 2019, to see how I’ve weathered the dreaded COVID storm, and it looks like this….
JAN (2019) 93F & 49S. (2020) 122F & 55S. (2021) 39F & 14S. (2022) 133F & 56S. FEB (2019) 104F & 79S. (2020) 144F & 87S. (2021) 44F & 27S. (2022) 133F & 78S.
YTD (2019 197F & 128S. (2020) 266F & 142S. (2021) 83F & 41S. (2022) 266F & 134S.
So I’m virtually back on track to pre-covid times.
Hopefully everyone else is too.
All the best fellas.
