Morning Bob, forecast right for once and it's grey and blowy down here although one bonus is that we haven't got the heavy rain that was predicted. Not likely to see anything unless it clears up.

Same here, grey and chilly but no rain so far. Could do with it though, have been watering the garden daily but no substitute for a steady downpour!
LHR using 09 so in theory I can see the approach but nothing of interest on the radar so far.

Loads of exam revision lately, hence the lack of posts. May have to whip round to Southampton later or in the morning, as N8200E, N200A and N82RP are all there, all needed.

Been cloudy all day and biggest disappointment was hearing the Hawaiian A330 (N378HA) on delivery fly over the house but couldn't see a blasted thing also missed the Aero Mexico B787 XA-AMX which went over inbound Heathrow and now as it's getting toward the evening the blue sky is starting to appear, time for another cider me thinks.

Yes, two blank days in a row. Was out until 15.30 so would not have seen JA17KZ even if it was clear, but also missed F-HBXH my last Hop! EMB.170, back from lease to Air Côte d'Ivoire, when the skies were temporarily clearing, though I did see the Ryanair right behind it (Sod's Law applies).

Not sure where to put this but last night I caught NASA DC8 N817NA apparently tracking down the west coast of Ireland at 27k on FR24 but then it disappeared. Bit of further research on FR24 had this as arriving at Keflavik on 15th so it could be correct -Just wondered if anyone knew if this was just a false reading which can happen - Did it go into Shannon and if so could it head our way??

Mainly blue sky here also after a dull start, but nothing of interest so far.
Need 4 of Bill's LHR bonanza, F-HBXH (already gone), G-VYUM (approaching from the north so won't see it), N803AL (showing on Flightaware as routing in via Strumble so should see it in the Ockham hold) and OE-LGQ which should go overhead on departure if on the usual Swiss LX348 flight.

Dereks Hi Dereks, I picked this one up a few days ago, it was coming out of KEF and was tracking east towards Scandinavia. So I think its a bit more than a false reading. Haven't seen it since then but keep your fingers crossed... It's getting closer!!! Cheers. Bill

Despite mainly clear skies and good trails, only 4 today. N803AL American 787 into LHR, VQ-BLR 748F of Air Bridge routing DFW-FRA, G-LCYU my last City EMB.190 heading S out of MAN and UR-AJA A320 of Zagros. Saw this climbing out of LTN, can't normally see these but got a glimpse of it when looking for something else (G-EZOH heading for MAN, needed but could not see it!)
Was hoping to see OE-LGQ DHC8-400 on LHR departure on LX349, was tracking it on FR24, but went west of here and could not spot it looking into the sun.
And a scrape, YL-LCN operating for Ryanair, saw this as VH-HYT with Ansett in Australia in 1997!

A good morning for me with 4 airliners made, TC-SNF 738 of SunExpress routing Cork-Izmir, HZ-AK24 777 of Saudia went right overhead on LHR Dover departure, G-EZOH A320 routing Alicante-Manchester and EC-MEQ A320 of Vueling routing Barcelona-Edinburgh.
Going out this afternoon (bowls match) so don't expect to increase the tally.

Poorly household here, not one, but both (2) of my sisters were sick early morning, so haven't been looking at the radar too much. Although, was sat in the garden, and I saw a biz go over and it showed as blocked on fr24, so I checked my radar and it was 939CC which was a frame for me.

Log in problems continue on the I-pad.
Cloud cleared mid afternoon, lots of biz movements, Gulf 650s in particular, but missed all of them including VP-CAC executive A330 inbound STN. Made A6-APB A380 of Etihad outbound LHR, but had to wait until after 22.00 for the next frame, but a good one, XA-MAX EMB.135. A couple of scrapes N717MK GLEX and C-GAPT C.750, can anyone tie up a Gulf 5 or 550 inbound LTN or STN at 22.25, squawk 4215, did not show onPlaneFinder?

Jerry, did you see my message last night about i-pad issues when logging on? Proboards are aware of the issue, it affects all their forums and they are working on a fix.
