I Had OY-GKJ on an MMD flight yesterday, came over the SAM, maybe it? Not sure Dylan Hi Dylan, you could be right, when I saw it yesterday it was trailing but difficult to see exactly what it was,on FR24 it just showed MMD1380 and on Planefinder it stated that it was OY-DCJ but on googleing the reg it stated that it was a PA-28 Cherokee which had been written off sometime ago.

Nice one to end the day, 2472 C-130H of Brazilian AF (c/n 4452) descending, presumably to Brize, beautifully silhouetted against the evening sky.

I just checked the modes (45906A) again in airframes and OY-GKJ Falcon 2000 popped out today, yesterday it wasn't giving any response... So I think you could be spot-on... Cheers mate. Bill No worries mate, thanks to my RTL stick I got it Dylan

Morning Lucky you Bill! I've got one today (or last night, whichever suits best lol) which was EC-KVD B733 BCS8456 at 00:07, nothing since. That B733 was a struggle, had to scan for the lights with my binos

Won't be at Sywell this weekend, have sprained my ankle and can't drive! Hope to be at the LAA rally in September.
Just two today, TC-JOM A330 on LHR departure (c/n 1499 originally destined for Afriquah) and a lucky spot, D-ISKY B.200 routing PMI-MAN at FL270, not trailing. Broken cloud at present but nothing of interest on the radar.

Didn't get my 5 a day today, had to make do with 4 and a scrape. G-EZOG heading for BRS, 7T-VJA newish A330 on LHR departure, N12LX F.2000LX OTT heading east towards BRU and F-HFIP GLEX descending to LTN or STN. Scrape was EI-CFQ 733 of Mistral heading to DUB (frame seen with Monarch and Astreus) - Irish use of Q seems to be haphazard, Ryanair had EI-CSQ (now with Garuda as PK-GEO) bur have not had another Q since. Does anyone know the policy?

Morning Bob,
After I left you I bumped into an old friend who I hadn't seen for about 20 years so in the end I didn't leave until 5pm and as I wanted to get home I bypassed Turweston. My son as promised bought me fish and chips and a couple of tinnies but by all accounts I was gone by 9pm and had to be woken up as they couldn't hear Casualty due to my snoring.
As you mentioned above I still have a few things to look forward plus my day trip to Toulouse in just over 2 weeks time.
All the best.

Just the one was made on Thursday (29th) and it was one that I nearly never checked:
F-GRHB A319 Air France
God knows how many I made at Sywell yesterday but I reckon it was over 100.

Yes, I made F-GRHB too routing BHX-CDG, only checked it yesterday! Still need lots of the AF A319s, must be more vigilant! Just one today after cloud cleared around 18.00, CS-LAM GLEX descending towards LTN. Total for May 133, last year 189 but that's because Popham was so disappointing this year.

Hi Boys,
Well please my sincere apologies for not getting to the meeting point at 2pm... We were in the queue for the airside bus tour and finally got onboard, at the second attempt, at about 2.30... Think it was worth it, albeit a bit rushed (hand writing) think we managed to get about 95% of what was there... Still wading through the log but will hopefully have one to post soon...
We had a really good day out, and like Bob and Dave have said, it was a bit tiring... We managed to do Luton on the way up and Cranfield on the way back - ZS-ISA Challenger was a bit of a bonus as was N86LA Ce525... But the 450(ish) at Sywell was a huge success....
Well done boys - hope you all had as good'er time as we did.... We didn't get fish & chips though!!!!
Cheers.
Bill

I have to say the fish and chips were lovely, food and drink always seems to taste better when someone else has footed the bill.
All the best.
