Bob,
I know what you mean and Zurich has become a bit of a second home to us and it never ceases to amaze us the amount of different biz that we see every year.Florida should be good because unbeknown to us when we booked it the Miami International Boat Show takes place during our second week so Miami and Opa Locka with the two Fort Lauderdale airports along with Boca Raton and West Palm Beach will be heaving with biz jets.
All the best everyone and I'll post logs on my return.

I spend many hours correcting Air-Britain publications (last year I got a free AFQR for my troubles!), so I hope it doesn't offend.

Not a bad start to February.Yesterday,OY-TCH Thomas Cook's latest A321 and N353UP 767F (it had clouded over when N349UP went by which I also need) and today ET-ASG latest 787 of Ethiopian on LHR departure and EC-LAE Gulf 200 descending towards LTN.
Just 57 in January but need to get out more, all made from home, no airfield visits.
Off to Tenerife on 10 Feb on a family holiday, may be able to post depending on Wifi availability in the hotel. Depending on wind direction maybe able to see the approach to TFN where most of the inter-island stuff goes, ATR72s nearly all needed.

Not much happenng here today, overcast and threatenng to snow all afternoon, all I've seen and potted is Voyager ZZ337 whilst out with the dogs earlier, went OTT Devizes International fairly low. Right peed off that those T6's were around Bournemouth and if I'd been down there a bit later, I might have seen them.

Cleared up here around 14.00 after overnight snow (!) and low cloud. Yes, made CS-GLD as well but it was at FL450 when it went over heading SE, not trailing so a lucky spot. Also made SE-RJT 737 of SAS and B-KQT my last Cathay 773 on LHR 09 approach

Just 1 yesterday, 9M MUB, way over to the NE at 41 K & trailing, otherwise no chance. 22 my total for Jan. 189 since I arrived on 14th October. Probably not a lot less than I would have got had I stayed at home. Have fun Terry

Just had VP BLP depart over the flat. It's been coming up as 4243C2 for 5 mins each day twice a day since the 31st Jan. but Planefinders decided not to decode it for me till now 5 mins after it went over my head. But that's it for today so far. Have fun Terry I spoke too soon, just had A7 BAY go over trailing at 35k, a nice gap filler for me. Have fun Terry HZ AK 25 , just gone the opposite way trailing at 34 k, getting good 3 in 1 day Have fun Terry

Half decent here today, potted six including a mini heli fest whilst out with the dogs this afternoon
CS-TLZ B763 TMA AIR CARGO N604TF CL60 N510CT F2TH D-HCBT EC135 G-MSVI A109S B-2096 B777 AIR CHINA CARGO, SAW STROBES AS SHE WENT OTT A WHILE AGO

Disappointing day, mainly cloudy here, made nothing OTT and missed my last Air China Cargo 77F B-2096. Late consolation - 5Y-KZB 787 just went overhead outbound from LHR on its first visit, just need 1 of their 6 now, 5Y-KZC.

Another disappointment! 99-0004 757 of USAF just went by eastbound, some gaps in the cloud now but it didn't go through any of them! Showed on PlaneFinder as SAM158, did not appear on FR24.
(later) But a bonus, OK-ESC Beech 400A out of Bristol went over a few minutes ago, strobes seen clearly.
(even later) Disaster! Took my eye off the ball, N602FE my VERY LAST FedEx MD11F went overhead inbound STN while I was watching a cookery programme on TV!
