Bright morning in Cornwall yesterday but cloud built up as the day went on before torrential downpours in the evening. Three hit the book yesterday - N1DS Global, N160SB BD100 and A6-EOT Airbus A-380. Rain stopped at about seven this morning and currently bright so see what happens today.

Cloudy most of the day, but cleared late afternoon. Made 3, F-GNOE Beech 350, N650GA Gulf 650 and M-NTOS C.525. Needed Aegean A320 SX-DNB is currently in LHR, due out shortly, should go overhead.
(later) SX-DNB did an unusual Midhurst departure, only saw the strobes. But a BIG bonus was N602FE MD11F inbound STN, my last FedEx MD11.

I started the day with the words " what a fantastic morning " , well it just got better and better with almost unbroken clear sky all day, allowing me to put a staggering 27 in the book today, can't remember a day like this for ages. Some of today's sightings were very run of the mill with the exception of the Air Canada A321 even if it was a very common sight in its previous guise So here is the list for today...

As I might have said before, I have a lot of sky to see from my home,no trees,no high buildings, only a prison wall to my north to obstruct stuff below FL300 passing over Devises International heading west. ( and before anyone asks...I am not in the prison )

Clear and bright here too, but nothing much on the radar until........OH-LEK EMB.170 AY8961 heading west at FL210 descending, destination looks like Kemble. Best pot of the year?

Post by graham on Jan 16, 2016 10:11:14 GMT
Yes Jerry, watched her go to Kemble on Plane Plotter, unfortunately too far north and too low for me here, so looks like a ride to see her on Monday if she stays.
