Was in Southampton General Hospital from 11pm Friday until 15:00 Saturday, ended up being awake for 40 hours straight. I'm OK - girlfriend's in a "bad state" at the moment, depression, ADHD and Anxiety all colliding into one big blur - not nice at all. Both of us have exactly the same conditions so I'm in the same boat as her, hence why I was able to stay. We were in the main child's ward, very sad indeed - saw a couple of toddlers with the big b*stard C, such a sad sight.
That, is the reason I've made EC-MKI today and that's the mass total for the weekend. Also saw the Air Ambulance a fair few times whilst I was there for umpteen hours, flew straight over the childs' unit every time - woke some of the babies in the ward up at 5:30am - didn't think they were allowed up at that time, but hey-ho! Didn't get the reg, but I'd imagine it was G-HIOW.
May not be posting as much this week as I've got a cramped week of exams and bs next week, also got to keep a close eye on Grace this week - her Mum's booked the week off too.
Cheers guys Dylan

Hi Dylan,
Sorry to hear your news mate. Just hope you are both back on your feet real quick. Being under the weather is one thing but having to spend time in hospital I think makes it much worse but, either way, you're being a really good friend staying with Grace in hospital. Keep smiling mate.
All the best.

Many thanks Jeff and Bill, it's much appreciated from the both of us. Indeed it's a complete new story once emergency services are involved, as nobody knows what to really do as nobody (professionals) know what's going on in her head at the time. as I say, we both highly appreciate the kind words, thank you so much Kind regards Dylan

Cheers guys Dylan Dylan, I was sorry to read about your weekend in hospital, I have suffered from ADHD for about 20 years now, so I know how this can affect. The one thing you have going for you is your age, at 16 years old you have the symptoms diagnosed and hopefully treated at this relatively early age, I was not so lucky, so by the age of 21 I turned to alcohol as a coping mechanism. Thankfully both yourself and your good lady are a little too young for that. There is a lot of stigma attached to this medical condition, and don't get me wrong it is a proven medical condition, often mis - diagnosed. I implore you, listen to your doctors, and take whatever medication they prescribe, I did not, thinking that I knew best, not only did I delay getting the treatment that I needed, but I became dependent on alcohol as a replacement for medication, this led to trouble with the police ( drinking in public ), and ultimately several spells at HMP Bullingdon. I know it does not seem that way at the moment, but I have never met you, but again I implore you, listen to your doctors, honestly It will become better. Again very best regards to both you and Grace Adrian
