Saturday seemed to be sunny everywhere except for Wiltshire Chris. I made four throughout the day including the brand new Air Canada B789 C-FRTU inbound LHR, that was early evening when the weather did clear for 30 mins or so before the all enveloping murk descended again.

With family until lunchtime, but have managed 3 frames since, catch-ups G-EZPO easyJet out of BRS and G-JZHZ Jet2 heading for BHX, and one for the military enthusiasts, PT-ZNJ EMB.390 of Brazilian Air Force (not the one at Farnborough, that was PT-ZNF), heading NE at FL300 trailing, went to Gothenburg.

Finally got off the mark today, every time something needed was near, so were the bloody clouds, missed the EMB390 but 30 seconds later the clouds parted to reveal the trail it had left.

Just 3 for me today, 789s out of CDG C-FRTG on the AC879 to YYZ and N824AN on the AA49 to DFW plus VP-CTS Gulf 650 inbound LTN. C-FMLZ would have been my last Rouge 767 but can't see LGW inbounds or outbounds from home.
Needed 330 TC-LOD was in LHR on the TK1979/80, it taxied out but then it taxied back in again and eventually left over 2 hours late by which time I had given up waiting for it!

Missed a USAF C-130H this morning as the man came to repair the tumble dryer just as it was going over.
Just made up for it with "WHE01" Merlin ZZ102 (for Norway) en route from Norway, via Humberside, to Yeovil. Seen in the distance at 14.02 whilst over Edington (near Devizes).
EDIT:- Add to that Atlas ZM415 on delivery to Brize Norton.

Nice today up here in Cheshire, albeit very overcast- managed two this morning before work EI-FWF SSJ southbound and OE-GLL C550 on the climb out of LPL. With it being overcast- going to take the opportunity to cut the grass, with my new mower. Downside- footy fixtures out today, first five for the mighties -Stoke H, City A, Chelski A, Spurs H, Man U A- must have been a kopite picking those ones for us. But you have got to play them sooner or later. Stoke at home has thrown my planned trip to the Bristol Balloon Festival out of the window, and Popham next year is in doubt as we are at home that weekend (6-8 May). But heygame ho!!! can't have everything. Happy Spotting Bob Well if you are coming down on the 30th December for the game against the Mighty Cherries and want a hangar tour give me a shout Bob! Cheers Mark

LHR on 09 today, could just make out a couple of frames through the leaves of next door's beech tree, SP-LWC LOT's latest ex-Chinese 738 and B-2029 773 of China Southern, replacing the usual 787 (first visit?). A blast from the past was HL7460 744, but the only Korean 744s I needed were HL7496 which was written off and HL7465 which is now a Government machine.
Also G-EZRG 320 easyJet heading south out of MAN.

Logged my 30,000th frame today, C525 F-HIJD on its downwind leg heading into LCY. It beat my 30,001st by 1 minute, Apache ZJ210 heading in a similar direction. Earlier China Southern B777 B2029 made a pleasant surprise in the stack for LHR. Also picked up a massive gap filler AAB767 N350AN.

Out most of the day, but caught up with a few in the evening. EI-FZH 738 Ryanair filled a gap, T7-JAT GLEX was inbound LTN and VQ-BUB 773 Aeroflot was on the SU2584/5 from/to Moscow. VQ-BIL was a second Aeroflot 773 into LHR today on the SU2578/9 but not needed. EI-GAL 320 Aer Linus was a scrape, ex Aeroflot.
