Early cloud and spots of rain have cleared away to leave some sizeable holes in the sky, enough to see Sun Express B738 TC-SEO heading for DUB

Normal service was resumed until lunchtime-ish with plenty of blue along with the clouds but now it's wall to wall clag, however the following were logged although did miss a few as well: N827AN B787-9 American PR-BBS BBJ CS-DVS Phenom 100 N54DT Citation 510 Mustang G-DCOI AW139 G-JAFS PA-32R Cherokee Saratoga G-EZRJ A320 EasyJet (Luton-Porto,only delivered yesterday, was on EZY9003 which is in the range that EasyJet use for delivery & positioning flights so I wonder if this machine is going to be based overseas,I've re-checked FR24 and it hasn't reappeared). N902MY Global Express 5000 G-CFGB Citation 680 Sovereign EI-FNI B777 Alitalia 3A-MGA Falcon 7X OO-SFX A330 Brussels G-CJUI B787-9 Norwegian (Oakland-Gatwick) Just to fill the gap on G-EZRJ, it did the Porto - Gatwick rotation as EZY9004 yesterday evening. Think it is to be Gatwick based. Chris.

Looks like today will be the first blank day since the 5th, have not seen a patch of clear sky all day, so I will add yesterdays sightings to the monthly list.

Well just to prove me wrong, the clouds parted about 19.30ish allowing me to add one to the log and then promptly clagged back in again.

Blank for me today as well, could not even see LHR Dover departures which go overhead at around 5,000ft. Did not bother switching on the radar most of the day, but did note OH-LWI 350 departing LHR on the AY832, first visit?
Just 1 yesterday, caught up at last with A7-BFL 77F Qatar.

Another frustrating day, low cloud until mid afternoon then occasional breaks, nothing made OTT, LHR departures needed but not visible were VN-A869 my last Vietnam 787 and EI-FPI CRJ900 SAS, but did at least make D-AIWB 320 Lufthansa.

Despite mainly blue skies and trails at all levels, only 3 frames for me today, N109QS GLEX heading NNW at FL430 and LHR inbounds 4X-EHC my last El Al 739 on the LY317 and B-5906 333 Air China on the CA855 (don't recall this visiting before, but no doubt someone knows better!).
Missed EI-FPG CRJ900 on the SK4627 from Stavangar, this type looks to be regular now on this service.

Glad some had good skies today, I'm sitting in some kind of micro climate of perpetual low lying cloud. Well, apart from early morning when there was a wispy blue sky and a lot of traffic around but only one needed (the Etihad), by 9.30 it was cloudy all the way. One low flying Chinook helped out. The forecast for the rest of the week shows 100% cloud cover every day until Saturday. Low expectations then for the rest of the month.

Gloomy all day
RAF Hercules flypast at the nearby National Memorial Arboretum yielded ZH883, accompanied by the not needed ZH875.
A quick run by BHX when out and about yielded :
SX-RFA Boeing 757 – 23N GainJet Aviation A6-YMA Gulfstream G550 Falcon Aviation Services UR-CKC Antonov An-74TK 100 Cavok Airlines G-JZHZ Boeing 737 – 8MG Jet2 EC-KRH Airbus A320 – 214 Vueling
Also saw this take off: F-WTDH Airbus A321 – 231 Anyone know the story of this one, apparently it's been at BHX for a couple of weeks 'awaiting transfer back to Airbus', ex SE-RDO Novair, the displayed reg F-WTDH is a test reg which has been used at least a couple of times before for other aircraft. The plane was all white with no markings other than the reg.

Nothing doing OTT yet again today, other than one low flyer
G-ZVKO Zivko Aero Edge 350
Ran through Egginton (Derby) whilst out and about, and added the following, mostly residents I think but I hadn't picked them up on previous visits.
G-STEA Piper PA-28R-200 Cherokee Arrow G-ARAX Piper PA-22-150 Caribbean G-BAKJ Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche G-BVNI Taylor Titch G-BTJA Luscombe 8E Silvaire Deluxe G-BNHK Cessna 152 G-AYPH Reims Cessna F177RG Cardinal RG
Still time for the cloud to break up, or another low flyer, to give June a final flourish but not looking promising. Forecast for tomorrow looking better at last.
