I think the Polish coded RP may be SP-3724 but it was a pig to read off. A very stylized reg in silver on white.

I could only see the 'RP' code on the tail when this one came in. However, I put SP-3724 in a search engine & it came up with this photo: www.jetphotos.com/photo/8164223

Hi Bobby and Andrew
D-KBPE is PE
OK-2929 is AJ
D2729 is V
SP-3724 is RP I think per a Google, I couldn't read it off the photo
I haven't cross matched with all yours yet Bob but a competitor I didn't get a registration for was '8Q' in the open class
Regards
John

I was fortunate that I was with my mate Rob Belcher who is also a member of the Lasham Gliding Society,so I had a drive around the grid with him and then we parked up opposite the airliners and he was taking photos of the gliders as they got airborne. If they are still taking off towards the airliners then I would guess that if you stood on the grass mound by the barrier then you would get some good shots.Of course if they take off from the hangars end then the clubhouse would be a good position to be in.They are doing tours of the grid starting @ 10.00 for a fiver but because they didn't launch until 14.15 they came round asking if people wanted to do a tour.

Met up with Bill, Viv and Sean there yesterday, weather started off chilly but by late morning it had cleared up and was a bright, sunny day. The launch was put off several times but everything got away at midday so we were unlucky not to get the grid tour prior to everything going off. But we did do the Heritage tour and our chauffeur very kindly took us through the airliner department. I'm still sorting out the photos but here are a few to whet the appetite IMG_8529 by Graham Brown, on Flickr IMG_8528 by Graham Brown, on Flickr IMG_8539 by Graham Brown, on Flickr IMG_1532 by Graham Brown, on Flickr IMG_1485 by Graham Brown, on Flickr IMG_1473 by Graham Brown, on Flickr IMG_1522 by Graham Brown, on Flickr IMG_1538 by Graham Brown, on Flickr

Brilliant day Graham, great to have some good company for a very enjoyable day of spotting...
Great photo's mate.
Sadly I only scrapped the Burkina Faso B727!!! But hey-ho....
Here's to the next one... And if any members wants details of our little jaunts just let us know and perhaps we could start a thread just for that....
Cheers.

Cheers Bill. Yes, a great day and plenty of laughs! Pleased with the 727 shot , taken through the windscreen of a moving truck so rather happy with the result. I'd seen it too, back in the mists of time when it wore CS-TBY for TAP. Still good though to get a shot of an XT- frame

I know this isn't strictly to do with the subject of the thread but does anyone know when XT-BFA and N724YS are due to leave Lasham? I'm thinking of coming down tomorrow to see them and then go onto Woking and see the mighty Cardinals lose to Leyton Orient! Gutted I missed out on the gliding competition though, looked incredible.
I know that N724YS has been there for months btw.

I went on the 13th and spied a glider in the hanger by the clubhouse which I wrote down as having code "ESS" on the fin. Was this G-KESS from Ringmer? I have not seen any other mention of it here yet? (or missed it!) There are only four current UK regs ending in ESS and this is the only glider.
