For those who saw the 2 P8s heading north towards Keflavik on 17 March, Fighter Control now reports these as AE6839 169349 and AE6888 169344. From mk1 eyeball on the ground.

Saturday was a bad day all round- overcast skies, and my beloved blues getting knocked out of the cup by Man City. But Sunday afternoon gave me some hope and the improving weather allowed three more to enter the book to take me into the nineties for 2021 HA-JEX- C650 > DUB A7-BFQ- 777F Qatar Cargo Eastbound>AMS TF-BBN- 737-4 Bluebird >Southbound Stay safe Bob

Start of the working week and a nice day once I got home with lots of blue stuff and a further two swelled the numbers:- G-TTNL- A320N BAW Just M, N and O to get now. 169229- C130J USMC Westbound Fl240 and landed at Belfast The Herc flew right over the top of my bungalow. Then it clouded over- but half decent start to the working week. Stay safe Bob

Started well with 2 Delta A330-900 within 5 mins, N405DX heading east and N403DX the other way. TC-NCJ heading south to north was next in the book, followed by new BA machine G-TTNO on Heathrow approach. ZM510 Juno was a long way south over the Thames, but visible from Kent. C130 169229 then obliged heading NW from Kent, and welcome Heathrow visitors were OH-LKK E190 and TC-LJO B777F. GV N284PH trailing OTT finished the day nicely, so cannot be too upset and being unable to see the Fly Dubai.

Well, despite clear skies all day, just one went into the book and that made me wait until early evening for it, but, well worth the wait..
F A6-FEF - B737 flydubai heading for SNN
PlaneBase says I've seen 33 of their fleet of 60 B737s, most of which have been as OTTs when holidaying in Crete and Rhodes. Of the remaining 27, most are B738 and B739 Maxes that have not yet entered service

Whilst watching the local weather forecast on Sunday, they said that yesterday was going to be cloudy with a light breeze,WRONG,it was wall to wall sunshine from the start and resulted in half a dozen making the logbook:
N405DX A330NEO Delta (JFK-TLV) G-FLXY PA-28 Cherokee 181 OE-FOE Cessna 510 Citation Mustang G-FTAC PA-28 Cherokee 161 G-FTAF PA-28 Cherokee 161 A6-FEF B737 FlyDubai (DXB-BTS-SNN)
Whilst on the subject of weather forecasters, they said last night that we would have a slight frost this morning,WRONG again,it's quite cloudy as I type this.

Gents
literally a flying visit
Chep Lap Kok 15-03-2021
As we taxied in :-
Cathay Dragon : B-HTH & B-HTK, B-HLM, B-HLN, B-HLP, B-HLQ
All parked outside HAECO, with engine blanks in
Terminal (as we taxied in)
B-LAA / B-LAD / B-LAF (parked stored opposite the airstairs) B-LBA / B-LBc / B-LBD / B-LBE / B-HPD / B-HLU (Oneworld), & B-HYQ (this should have been retuned to the Leesor), defo Q cofirmed by photo
These are just what i scribbled down on the taxi in after landing, and the walk to baggage re-claim (With some sneaky photos on my mbile)
it is worth noting that photography is not permitted airside at Chek Lap Kok (.........Uhmm unless you have a diplomatic passport)
I will post a full log later, we also made a goodwill visit to Nepal on the way home, and yes you can take aircraft pictures wherever you want in Nepal, and there in lies a hilarious tale which i will post later ( I Love Nepal )
This week is shaping up for another trip, once my boss has a bee in her bonnet, she wont let go, so i can envisage either Taiwan or Japan by the end of the week, but we'll see
I am feeling like a one armed, wall paper hanging thingy (Blindofded) that cant find the wall
Oh. and in the defence review I didnt get a payrise, but apart from that I'm happy
Cheers Adrian
