I needed that BBJ as a frame Bob, but it was way too far east for me to see. Even so, a decent day at home again topped off with the Turkish A350 heading for EWR as the light started to dim

Friday another nice day with four hitting the books- after the needed Icelandair 737-MAX (Thanks Dave Allum) I decided to recover the shed roof- you know half way through it was a job you wished you never started- but never the less four plus hours later it was done- only downside I was knackered. 9H-LOW- A320 Lauda (Europe) west to Knock TF-ICD- 737Max Icelandair south to CDG 9V-SWU- 777 Singapore westbound to JFK 9H-IFX- Praetor southbound Well the aches and pains soon subsided after a chippy tea and a few cans of wife beater (Stella). Saturday another nice day- just waiting for the JAL 787 JA869J today for a change. Happy Days Bob

Well the predicted change in the weather started Sunday- but thankfully MCR on 05 helped with a couple and one over the top gave me three for the day- so it was a bit of R & R in the garden in the afternoon:- 2-NAPA- Hawker 800 southbound TC-SEU- 737-8 Sun Express inbound MCR TC-NBZ- A320N Pegasus inbound MCR As I type this the weather is overcast- but never say never may see something. But I know my beloved has a few things to do around the house. Happy Days Bob PS:- Not overcast it is blue skies- forgot the gloom was with it being darker in the mornings with the clocks going forward-Doh!!! What a Dunderhead.

Tuesday started with a mixture of cloud and hazy blue skies, but with Manchester being on 05 and a bit of blue in the late afternoon after I had painted the side gate and the shed- resulted in a further six hitting the books:- A6-BMG- 787-10 Etihad inbound MAN EI-GEC- CR9 SAS inbound MAN TC-NCU- A320N Pegasus inbound MAN TC-LTH- A321N Turkish east out of DUB 9H-VUL- 737M Malta Air south out of DUB EI-HAT- 737M Ryanair south out of DUB Then it went really dark and the the rain came. As I type this it is cloudy but not raining. Happy Days Bob

Yesterday's forecast rain never materialised, it was cool but dry all day with various bits of blue popping us here and there. In fact, in the early evening prior to dinner, I laid a membrane out front ready for a couple of tonnes of gravel whilst the good lady jet washed the rear patio which had two years' worth of ingrained dirt on it, and it came up like new.
Four frames and a single scrape, including the BBJ that went east a few days ago way beyond my sight.

Good job- I got my jobs done yesterday, because it is absolutely throwing it down here in Cheshire, and looks like it is heading south. So quite confident that today will be the fifth day this month that nothing goes into the book. But I have been wrong before. Happy Days Bob

Nice end to the month- Thursday started off nice with a few inbound to LPL on 27 for a short while and Manchester 05 all day- clouded over in the afternoon - so I braved the cold temperature for an hour or so in the garden and when the blue skies reyrned- went back indoors:- So made a grand total of 11:- YL-CSE- A220 Air Baltic inbound MAN ops for Eurowings OE-LIM- G550 at LPL PH-NXH- E195-2 KLM City Hopper inbound MAN ET-AYN- A350 Ethiopian inbound MAN 1st visit HA-LZN- A321N Wizz inbound LPL OO-SNK- A320 Sabena inbound MAN G-DRTP- 737-8 Jet 2 inbound MAN D-AIBL- A319 Lufthansa City Line west to DUB F-HTYJ- A350 Air France westbound G-XWBK- A350 BAW south to LHR OY-JZM- 737-8 JetTime southwest bound So a great end to March- made 129 without going anywhere mainly due to good weather- and also being retired- made 1 x visit to LPL and Barton with a massive 2 noted. Highlights of the month were the JAL 787's and getting a USAF C5M - total for the year is 281 which is 166 up on last year- but retirement has helped. Any trips for April- none due to my beloved starting part two of her treatment- but we are going to North Yorkshire on Pidley weekend- so you never know may make a cheeky visit to a few fields, with the blessing of my beloved that is. April has started and the weather currently is nice with wall to wall blue skies, and three in the book so far. Happy Spotting Bob

The problem with this covid is no one is wearing masks anymore- I always wear one when I go into shops etc for obvious reasons with my beloved having treatment- but I think the gov like with a lot of things like i.e stopping free parking for NHS staff and making you pay for test kits have shot themselves in the foot- they are not bothered anymore- they think it has gone away- but it has not- still 100,000 a day and that includes the people who have tested positive and stay in the house. Not to mention the 160,000 plus deaths as well. Anyway on a brighter note- hope you recover soon- mu mother and father-in-law who are both in their 80's did with no real symptoms. Rant over- oh manage to get on the British Gas site to record my metre reading. Happy Days Bob
