Morning oakleaf, yes, what a great tour. Some of the blokes on our tour were moaning like mad that certain areas were off limits but as our guide reiterated several times, there was nothing he could do about it. I've heard that the strictly enforced "no photos" rule now was due to one of their guides taking a group into a specific "NO GO" hangar where techies were working on some Neo engine issues and he allowed some members to take photos. I believe they sacked the guide.

It's the same @ Toulouse Graham,no problems with notebook/pen but strictly no photos,of course no problem when not on tour and viewing from outside the factories.

Mixed day today - the haze early on meant that I missed the Turkish Govt A330 that went straight overhead heading East, and also the 2 KC135s that crossed South London heading West. Irish Air Corps LJ 258 also hid above the haze. The Polish Air Force C130 1504 eluded me as it went West towards Brize Norton, but fortunately came back in the clear and passed right overhead at about FL210. Others to hit the book were:
D-AIUU A320 out of LHR C-GHLA B767 OTT 9H-TQM A340 substituting on the Surinam flight TC-LNF A330 OTT and into Biggin Hill: G-DCOI AW139 OE-HNG Galaxy D-ABCD CL604 and 4 Turbulents G-APVZ, G-ARGZ, G-ARMZ, G-ARNZ

Cheers Dave, must get down to Toulouse one day. I've heard though that it's a 3 mile walk to the closest toilets there, which would make it a Toulouse Loo Trek......( stop hitting me please.......)

The Blenheim, G-BPIV roared overhead on approach to Biggin Hill just under half an hour ago.

Has not been very nice over the past few days- but despite the latter a steady trickle of cops have gone into the book- won't bore you too much three into Speke- one out of Manchester and this afternoon seen in a rare bit of blue heading south not trailing was Air Canada 787-9 C-FGDZ. That's about it- back to the footie. Happy Days Bob

Late breaks in the cloud allowed me to make G-TCDN A321 out of BRS, G-EZPL A320 on delivery to LTN and C-FBEL CL605 heading ESE at FL390, not trailing. Just 1 yesterday, N815AA 788 on the AA87 out of LHR, tomorrow's is N812AA which I also need. FInally, EVA 773 B-16720 is in LHR and due out at 21.35 on the BR68, this is rare (and needed) as they nearly always use one in the range 16701-17.

Was going to do a road trip this weekend- to the Air Britain Flying at North Weald- but due to quite a hard week at work- basically I'm knackered- and the crap weather we have had decided on staying at home - with the possibility of a morning trip tmoz to Manchester- then watching the footie as well. As well as spending a bit of quality time with my wife. Weather forecast states a chance of a bit of sun tmoz. So fingers crossed. Just seen Ronald Koeman's first press conference at Everton- loving the fella already. Happy Days Bob

Yes, clearer evening skies enabled me to catch up with EI-FRF 738 inbound STN from ORK, D-AEWG A320 on LHR 09 approach and F-HTVA 738 returning to ORY from LTN. Nothing yesterday apart from TF-ISN 767 inbound LHR which was a scrape. But missed A7-BEJ new Qatar 773 on its first visit to LHR this afternoon.

Good decision not to hit the road today- grim and overcast but not raining- also giving MCR a miss even though Hainan A330 B-8016 is going in today on the new service. Maccies this morning for an unhealthy breakfast (That's McDonalds to you chaps down south) Then to Goodison to the club shop to get my new EFC shirt for the new season. Then a bit of shopping with the wife, and footie, footie, footie. New Fixtures are out- and due to the blues being away- Popham next May is already a goer. Happy Days Bob
