Nice photo's Graham,
We had something called blue sky in Berkshire this morning, which enabled me to see my first Qatar A350, along with 5 of their B777's, I have not notice this happening before, but for the last three days from about 0900 onwards you get a constant stream of Arab carriers coming from the States, Etihad, Emirates & Qatar, but alas the sky has returned to it's natural cloudy state......
Cheers
Adrian

Thanks Adrian, yes, it started off beautiful here this morning but has clouded in now. It was a nice surprise to see the Anson G-AHKX this morning, it went directly over the house so I didn't have a chance for a decent shot as it was right overhead. Then five mins later, along comes the Pitts G-OSZS accompanied by Yak 50 G-JYAK

Well, finally!!! The clouds (in the appropriate place) were generous enough to allow me to see the first 2 (trailing at FL340 and FL360) out of a procession of 4 C-17s all routing Marham > EXMOR (Watchet). Made 1, yippee
Sadly, clouds rolled over for the second two and I needed one of them (had to be an Air National Guard one, of course ).
Earlier, my bugbear escaped yet again because of the clouds - "RACER98" C-20F (GLF4) 91-00108 out of Shannon and down UL9 to Europe and beyond.

Yes, clouds are breaking here too and trails appearing. 4 today, N828NW A330 Delta, A6-EUA A380 out of BHX, N707CW Gulf 4 and best, B-09590 BBJ which has just gone overhead heading NE, trailing. Assume this is a Taiwan rather than a mainland China registration.
Have linked my computer and I-pad on Dropbox, but the I-pad will only show the first 4,096 lines of files so I have had to rearrange Airbus and Boeing, using several shorter pages on a single spreadsheet works OK. Have several other files to rearrange!

Just made TF-GAY heading for CDG, but a bit late for the France-Iceland game! Also made EC-MLD A321 Vueling routing MAN-BCN, and B-6101 A330 of Air China is in LHR at present, hope to see it on departure (would be 2 in 2 days, made B-5977 yesterday).

Had to look this up out of curiosity and, yes, B-09590 is from Taiwan rather than mainland China.
Its hexcode is 8990EE which falls in the Chinese block 899000 - 8993FF that is used by Taiwan. ICAO do not recognise Taiwan for fear of offending China, so Taiwan has no official hexcode series allocation by ICAO.
Hope that helps,
Bob

I also saw the Air China A330 both yesterday and today on their way into LHR. Has Air China switched this flight from A330-200 to A330-300, in which case there are a whole bunch of extra frames to look for? Today also saw EI-EPG CRJ working for SAS, and HS-TKO, my penultimate Thai B777-300.

Jerry,
It looks like the Air China this evening is actually B-6102, so maybe this is a regular change to the -300s.

Nice blue skies over Wiltshire. Just made one and missed one.
"BOXER45" Hex AE1165 C-40C (B737) 02-0201 at FL360 (and trailing) routing Westbound along UL9. My last one of the 3 from DC ANG.
However, I could not see for looking "CNV6168" Hex ADFD70 C-26D (SA226) 900531 from AOD Naples routing the same way at FL220.

Whilst waiting and hoping for the F.35s to overfly my house (they didn't) I also saw HB-JNC. Plus EI-FNJ Aer Lingus, so it wasn't a waste of time.
Saw the Hornet over my house this morning.

I tried to view the F35 displays today from the Pegasus enclosure but found all areas of the Fleet Road that led to 'I' gate / Eelmore bridge cordoned off. so had to view from the industrial estate after circumnavigating FAB airfield & a tour of Fleet & Crookham area. Please can anyone tell me what the score is as, at present, it seems like I cannot make use of the facilities set aside for Pegasus members.

Looks like the French ATC must be on strike again, but this time with some blue skies and some trails to make the afternoon interesting. Alitalia A330s EI-EJH and EI-EJG hit the book within a few minutes of each other. Falcon 900 F-GKHJ did not trail, but appeared exactly where Planefinder said it was, and was clearly visible as it crossed the Thames. Then caught the latest Flybe Dash 8 G-PRPE and BA Embraer G-LCYW into LCY, so all in all a good day. No spotting tomorrow, as I am off to St Georges Tooting for my regular platelet donation, but Thursday is my trip to RIAT arrivals day, so hoping for a bumper day (and some sunshine?)

Very hazy this morning, but off to a good start with A7-ALD A350 on the QR744 and A39-001 A330 of Australian AF descending towards (presumably) Brize.
Today's CA855 into LHR is B-5978 A330, which I think is a first visit.
