Alright, Alright, Calm Down, Calm Down- not like America Dave- when they can predict to the minute when the rain is going to occur- anyway I did manage one today parked up at Speke having gone tech last night- Zimex ATR 72F HB-ALM. Nice one!!!!!!! Still overcast and raining here. Look on the bright side more of the same predicted tmoz. Happy Days Bob

I've calmed down now Bob,but it just get's on your nerves day after day, before we know it we will have arrived at Autumn.I always say to the wife that I would love to live in a country where the seasons are what they should be.On a more positive note I hope to be going to Redlands airfield @ Swindon tomorrow to see my brother and his two sons do a parachute jump,it's been 3/4 years since I last went there and there are a few based that I need so I hope the weather will allow them to jump.

Broken cloud and no trails today, but have managed to pick up a couple of frames, N399NC BD.300 heading ESE at FL410 and EC-MGR 717 of Volotea routing VRN-CRK (missed this one when it was with Blue of Finland).

Third day on the trotters here where it's been overcast but so warm and muggy. Forecast for Monday and Tuesday is superb as long as the weather people have got it right for change. Spoke to some friends who live on the north coast of Crete yesterday. It's been 30c plus for the past month and they haven't had a drop of rain since late April.

Morning everyone- weekend off and weather wise same old thing I'm afraid- overcast and raining- so get my little cry in this morning and say nothing will be going in the book today then Last night a bit of blue sky appeared around 20:30 while the wife was watching a cookery programme and did get a nice Gulf 450 OE-IIE heading south and trailing. Have a great day everyone- and Dave hope it stays nice for your kid and your nephew's to do their parachute jump. Happy days Bob Thanks Bob,my brother and his sons had to be @ Redlands for 8am but at that time it was too cloudy to jump, just after midday the OK was given and they starting to jump,my lot were in the third flight of the day but it had clouded over a bit by then so we didn't see them leave the plane,it was eerie watching the 'chutes come out the cloud, but they all landed safely and my brother and his eldest son want to do it again,if I can lose a bit more weight,I may join them. Just wanted to say many thanks to one of the local pilots for giving me an escorted tour of the hangars,I will publish the log later.

Steaming hot all day here since the mist lifted at around 9.30am. It was 33C on our patio at 3pm and that wasn't in direct sunlight. Clear skies and plenty about but not that much of interest. Have made five though including a couple of Gazelles apparently having a jaunt from Qiniteq at Boscombe Down which as the crow flies, is about 20 miles from here.

Yes, too hot and humid for me too, clear blue skies but no trails. Just D-AEWJ A320 of Eurowings on LHR departure, LX-LQB DHC8-400 routing DUB-LUX and ZZ501 B.350 inbound NLT. TC-LKC 773 was a scrape(one of 3 Turkish acquired from Kenyan).
Awaiting departure of VQ-BQB 773 Aeroflot from LHR, due out 22.15. Rugbyref, note that today's CA855 is a different one B5956 but running late (ETA 21.28), you may see it on approach but I can only see 27 departures and likely to be after I have gone to bed!

Yes, saw the CA855, but I didn't need B5956. Let's hope they keep going with the 300s, and that they send us some of the less new ones too.

4 in the book for today!!!!
Did not start off well at 0800 when RCH562 KC-10A 83-0082 went over Melksham up TACAN Red 1 for Mildenhall. Looked good with the sunlight glinting off it, but......not needed.
Then, could not see the P-8 out of Farnborough for looking.
About 1015, two Shawbury Squirrels came (separately) over heading towards Marlborough - "SYS57"/ZJ251 [43C72A] and "SYS77"/ZJ277 [43C714]. Eight minutes later, I finally caught up with our VIP Voyager ZZ336 [43C6F9] as "RRR9301" taking Typhoon ZJ949 [43C73C} "RRR9711" out to Cyprus (probably with others). No chance of see the Typhoon(s) at FL240 in the haze. Finally just before 1500 , Merlin ZJ994 "JUNG414" [43C614] came over heading towards Swindon.
Shouldn't grumble really.

Yes, hot and sticky again here, blue skies but hazy and no trails. Just 4 frames, A6-EOZ A380 and EI-FPH CRJ.900 (SAS) inbound LHR, using 09 today, A7-ALC A350 on the QR744 BOS-DOH and HB-JRI GLEX inbound LTN.
Is FR24 going mad, or is it me? It is currently (22.15) showing 2 Australian 738s and a DHC8-400 on the ground but moving, around 5 miles from Southend!

Yes I saw them as well, these were a direct copy of ground movements of SYD at that that time. Had to check as was visiting my mum in Southend earlier in the day!

Gorgeous sight at 08:25 this morning over Melksham. Beech 200 G-BGRE (not interested) plus..........the black Martin Baker Meteor G-JWMA/"WA638" (the one I haven't seen before). In very close formation heading towards Yeovilton. The Beech was plotting and the Meteor was not.
Two hours later "ETPS83" Alpha Jet ZJ645 [43C5BA] hurtled over at 6000ft heading towards Yeovilton.
And the Meteor/Beech close formation returned over Melksham at 17.39BST.
