Well, we've had to find a new home pretty quickly since the demise of the old place which I'm sure took us all by surprise. There will be no draconian moderation here, everyone is welcome as long as there are no personal attacks, and nothing of a unsavoury nature is posted. I've tried to put the sub forums into a more logical sequence although that needs a bit of housework yet. Bear with me and it should be sorted out in a day or two. Thanks for joining us here and hope to see you participating on the forums. Thank you

Hi All.Pete here coming straight in off the back of the FAB board (which incidentally I found to be frequented by a great bunch - it certainly took me by surprise that it got pulled) here's looking forward to and equally good experience. Thanks for getting this set up so quickly Graham.

Thanks Guys, we had an inkling that "something was afoot" so we set the wheels in motion and got this waiting in the wings. It's Peter I feel so sad for, his wonderful Blackbushe thread just gone with the click of a mouse. I hope a certain person feels happy with what he's done.Great to have you all aboard and lets hope we can have as a successful forum here as we used to have on the other place.

Hi Graham and everyone Mick from the FAB board. Saddened by its demise. Was an avid reader of the Blackbushe forums. Hopefully they can be resurrected.

I hope to sign up to this new forum when I get home using my old details from the Farnborough Forum. You must put the Bournemouth Airport page back in very quickly as it was so popular with regular logs and some superb images from Yorky 22. As others have already said, what a very sad loss but hopefully normal service resumed asap Best of luck.

Morning all, yes sorry chaps, it was a mad rush to get this forum up to speed once we realised the plug had been pulled so if theee are any glaring omissions ( like Bournemouth and so on), then just shout and we'll get them included. Thanks for joining and taking the time to say hello.

OK, "Bournemouth", "Through the Zones" and "logs from days gone by" have been added. If any of you chaps know anyone from the old forum ( or anyone else for that matter)who might want to join, please feel free to give them the web address for here. As it stands, there is no "approval" required to sign up, so folks need only register and they are in. I've attempted to put the sub forums here in a more logical sequence, different from FAB but less cluttered. Photos are posted in exactly the same way as the old forum. Please just take a couple of minutes to scroll down through the forums and it will hopefully be a lot clearer to use. web address is aviationforall.proboards.com please note there is no "www" Thanks

Hi Graham
I am John and live in Seaford with regular postings on the UL9 group as well as others.Been around for years as my first Hall show was 69 when the B58 was there. Do photos these days as cannot keep up with the constant changes but will post movements and details of any visits made by UL9 group if needed. Being retired have a bit of time to spare and observe the many movements over the south coast. Good luck with the group.

Welcome aboard John & David, great to see you here. Yes, it came as a bit of a shock yesterday morning. I'm sure you'll find the new place here equally as informative as the old but with less formality and much more relaxed moderation. There is an off topic forum towards the bottom of the home page where you can talk about anything you like. If there's anything you would like added please just shout. It was all put together in a mad rush following yesterday's events. I had started to save Peter's epic Blackbushe thread but alas, I only had a small bit done when the plug was pulled. Poor chap must be absolutely gutted. I hope he joins us here so if anyone has his email address, please feel totally at liberty to invite him.

Top marks for the new Forum, and so quickly as well. I felt like I had lost a friend when the old site closed, there was so much useful (to me)stuff on there. As has been said Peter Brown must be absolutely gutted after all his work on old Blackbushe. I live in Bristol,am well past my use by date, the only places I visit on some sort of irregular basis are Bristol and Cotswold. Thank's again for this site,a much needed resource.

Welcome Mick & Bob, more familiar names which is good to see. Have a look around the new forums, they are set out rather differently than the old place but in a more logical sequence I reckon. Any criticisms, good or bad are welcome, anything you want adding just shout.

Graham, could the site have an Airport Vehicles section please. I know the old site did not have too many posts under that heading, but I find them interesting, particularly big red ones! Thanks

Hi all, I was one of the many lurkers on the old forum. I found it very informative but something about the way it was run bothered me slightly. Anyway I won't lurk anymore and very well done to Graham for setting this up so quickly. I have every confidence this forum will be excellent. I was/ am a big fan of Peter Browns Blackbushe thread and I hope it can be resurrected somehow. Best wishes to all and thanks to Graham. Pete

Welcome Pete & Filair, good to have you on board. Yes, no problem, I'll set up a forum for airport vehicles, one that slipped through the net yesterday. Anything else you need just ask.
