Your browser is probably automatically directing you to the old forum Keith because we are/were both using Proboards as host. If you copy and paste the link that Dylan has posted above, you should be fine. There's no "www", it's aviationforall.proboards.com

Hi peeps, paul from farnborough here, same id as on the old forum. i must say i was shocked at the unexpected demise of the old board, but well done on getting a new one up and running so quick, i hope it is a success i'm sure tony had his reasons for pulling the plug on the old one, but as others have said it is a crying shame that peters fantastic blackbushe thread has been lost anyway , heres to the phoenix rising from the ashes.

Welcome Paul, yes, a bit of a shock yesterday but we are all ready to go here. Please take a few moments to have a look at the layout, rather different from the old place but less cluttered and in a more logical order. if you know anyone who might like to join us then please do ask them.

Well, have to say what a tiring but thoroughly worthwhile day today, we now have 48 members aboard, not bad considering we only went live little more than a day ago. Thanks to all who have joined, I'm off for a well-earned ale and see you all tomorrow...;0)As said earlier, if any of you chaps know of anyone who would like to join our ranks here, please don't hesitate to ask them. There's no approval needed, just fill in the registration stuff and you're in.

I just googled ' pprune Blackbushe pictures from the past' and was directed to a thread that Peter Brown has recently posted to. I'm not registered with pprune so can't respond but he talks about his sadness of his four year thread ending and the loss of many memories and dedications. He also talks about a new dedicated Blackbushe website being created and I'm not sure if he knows that this new forum has been started? If anyone has anyway of letting him know I'm sure it would be appreciated by many.

Hi Guys,
Those of you from the Farnborough proboard will recognise me. I work in the Commercial and Sales department at ATC Lasham. I will try to post photos and heads up whenever possible but as some issues can be commercially sensitive I am not able to post everything in advance. Just one point about the Lasham thread I should point out that ASI do not have a presence at Lasham. The only MRO is ATC Lasham so it would be appreciated if you could reflect that in the title.
I live in Aldershot and am a regular visitor to the Eelmoor Bridge and other Farnborough vantage points. Phil

Good day folks from the Costa del Sol.
This time next week I shall be in Thanet for a three days, having flown into Gatwick on Norwegian, before heading for Manchester for a few more days break.

Welcome aboard Bob, glad you found us and pleased you've decided to join us. Yes, things happened rather quickly on Wed/Thu but we had this waiting in the wings and were able to get it live within a couple of hours of the old forum folding. Feel free to contribute as much or as little as you want, there is no draconian moderation here, we just want everyone to enjoy using the forum.

Warm welcome to you Mike, hope you find yourself at home here. Please have a look down the forums, we are open to any suggestions for additions and just as open for any criticisms, good or bad. Early days for us all but I'm sure a bit of fine tuning as we go will make this an excellent forum for all.

Hi,just a thought, could Dunsfold airfield be moved along side the other local airfields, looks a bit lost at the bottom of the board. As I work in and around Cranleigh and sometimes go into Dunsfold itself,I will post any unusual sightings, thanks.

Yep, no problem Robin, just about to take the dogs out for an hour or our Global Moderator Dockwell might do it if he's on line. One way or the other, it'll be done in an hour or so.

Hello All - Just to add my thanks for getting something quickly in place - I was sat in the office yesterday, clicked on the Farnborough Forum for my daily fix and that's when the the panic set in - It suddenly dawned on me that I might have to do some work!!. So thank you for rescuing me.
I'm Tony by the way. Live in Church Crookham and was a periodic contributor to the old site (I say contribute, it was mainly "can anybody help me id ....."). No doubt I'll continue to post questions of a similar ilk, but will also endeavour to provide any aviation snippets that come my way or from my travels.
Here's to a new adventure Cheers Tony
