Was my birthday yesterday, made one in an Asiana lump which was seen whilst doing double football. Not the best of lessons to have on your birthday, followed by double English..... However, got a new iPhone 5s so can't complain

Hope you had a great day Dylan.
Good day for me yesterday, 3 OTTs, 7 at Bidford, 4 at Brize and then 15 at Kemble. Reports on the "other UK fields" sub forum. Clear here this morning so hoping for a few in the book

Progress report from Paphos
As expected, nothing much to report! The local airport, despite a new terminal, is seriously underused considering the number of tourists (mainly UK and Russian), most are bussed more than 100km from Larnaca, no more than 6-10 flights a day at Paphos, mostly Ryanair (and mostly EI-DLR!) and EasyJet, with occasional Germania and Niki. Apart from G-EZPB on arrival, have made nothing. A couple of Transalls (not sure whether French or German) but they did not show on FR24 or PlaneFinder.
The OTT scene is not much better. In the morning there is a steady stream of El Al 738 and 739 heading E, and they return in the evening, but most are too far south to see the trails. So far in over 4 days I have logged 4X-EKT 738 and 4X-EHE 739 (probably both needed) and 7T-VJS 736 (not sure about this one) plus a Monarch and a Qatar 330. That's it!
On the plus side, the weather has been great, clear blue skies (scattered cloud today) and temperatures in the low 20s. The hotel is excellent, and I can confirm that ice cold Keo beer is recommended!

Update from Paphos
At last something interesting! VQ-BVK 738 of S7 returning to Moscow. Unfortunately this flight is weekly, and as far as I know is the only Russian flight into Paphos.
Apart from that, only A6-EAK A330 (not needed) 3 times, this operates Dubai-Larnaca-Malta and back. Weather still warm, mainly sunny but OTT are not trailing and are at least 25 miles away into the sun so are almost impossible to spot.

Visited BOH, FAB, Fairoaks, SOU and Lee today. Made a fair few, and I'll post logs tomorrow on the relevant board. Stand out was the Italian Bell at Fairoaks, although N550GA G550 demonstrator was also nice at Farnborough.

A better day here in Paphos, with M-LION 125 inbound and 4X-EKF/L/P 738s and EI-IMU A319 Alitalia OTT. Short trails visible now the sun is setting, but some distance away.
(edit) Add 4X-EKS, and A6-EKU A330 inbound Larnaca, just gone by.
The EZY5453 from LGW is 4.5 hours late today. Sod's Law applies, it is changeover day at the hotel so both outbound and homeward customers will be pissed off! Luckily we are here for another week!

Hi Graham On the Chinook it's at the back by the last window and on the Puma it's next to the roundel, but they are quite small and you need good light to read them when they are flying.
