After 3 blank days, clouds finally cleared this afternoon, made a couple of gap-fillers EI-FIY 738 inbound STN (still need EI-FOY/RJ/RS/RV) and TC-LNC A330 heading for BOS (just need TC-LNG). Also a scrape OM-ACA 744F heading W at FL400, frame seen with Nippon Cargo.
PlaneFinder seems to be missing a number of bizjets shown onFR24. 13.40 Gulf 5 inbound LTN squawk 0643 seen, any ideas?

Made 3 going into Biggin Hill today, PP-AMK F2000, HB-VPH C525 and YU-SPB C560. Heathrow changed from 09s to 27s at the 15.00 changeover, so I caught Lufthansa A320 D-AIUV in the stack overhead. I also needed the Slovakian B747 OM-ACA trailing nicely, and 4 B777s, the last of which HB-JND was my 1000th! Now just waiting to identify the formation of 3 (Spitfires?)into Biggin about 6.20 and out again about an hour later.

Weather was really nice first thing but now it's a mixture of cloud, wind and showers which has meant only two being logged:
G-VPCM Falcon 2000LX EC-MFN Airbus A320 Vueling (down to three now)
Don't think I'll get anymore today and tonight it's off to the Mad Stad to watch the Royals take on Ipswich,a win and we will go third (until tomorrow that is),would love a repeat of last season's game,a 5-1 win,we shall see.

Just one for the books today, and it was late on, with the arrival of G-HPIN B429 in connection with BESTIVAL here on the I O W this weekend, there was an EC135 with it but is yet to be identified.

Damn Ryanair.

Although a honeymoon isn't really conducive to spotting, i am picking up a few Otts, Saudi 320s seem to be regular but Ive only seen the one so far 'C', Korean has gone across with 777, 748 and 330s, missed the 330 :-( plus lots of other bits and pieces more european gap fillers than anything. The Wife has now also downloaded FR24 and PF :-)

Well, the rain has stopped and some blue sky is starting to appear - at last. Still, it did give me the opportunity to get my new Planeplotter waypoint file ready for its 15th September introduction (AIRAC Amendment 10/2016).
"RACER98" C-20F 91-00108 has done it to me again - gone over in clouds Westbound along UL9 and into Shannon. Hope I catch it on its way back - as and when!!!

"RACER98" was unkind again. Went much too far North for me to see without a trail. Routed TOPRO/TALGA direct KOK.
On the plus side - made two Eastbound C-17s (out of two seen) "RCH785" 07-7181 [AE20C2] and "RCH1815" 02-1099 [AE1171]. This latter one was doing the "Embassy" flight which used to go into Fairford. Also, it used (until quite recently) to be one of the rare 97AMW Altus-based machines, but is now operated by/on loan to 437AW at Charleston.
Looks like the Westbounds are going to route up the East Coast instead of coming my way.
The regular Sunday KC-10A from MacGuire into Mildenhall (and then on to Ramstein) was a disappointment, though - "RCH214" 83-0082 [AE0218] which was at Boscombe Down show in 1992 - though it was nice to be able to see it straight over the house.

Made 16 today, but nothing spectacular. Pleasing though to make both an EasyJet EZPD(6 now need) and a Ryanair FEF(20 now needed s I missed the new FRV by a couple of minutes.

5 for me today, LY-SPG A320 Small Planet heading for MAN, EI-FJJ 738 Norwegian and gap-filler G-EZOV A320 out of EDI (still need several in the EZP- range) plus M-JSMN GLEX and N651WE Gulf 650 inbound LTN. Did not need today's Air Nostrum CRJ9 EC-JZS on the IB8404 into LTN.
