ACE16 to take place tomorrow at Biggin Hill. According to the Marketing team there, some interesting choppers and fixed wing are due. I am on the guest list, so hopefully will be able to post a summary tomorrow evening.

A nice one to start the day, N86 CL601 of FAA out of Mildenhall, heading SW at FL320 climbing, not trailing.

One logged this morning Turkish 777 TC-LJH nice weather in work but very hot- and although the skies were blue they were very hazy so not a lot could be seen. Got home just after one and the predicted rain that is due has arrived. But supposed to be nice tomorrow so may break my duck for the week. At least my new bathroom is starting to look nice- and the mighty blues had a nice win at Sunderland last night. Ten working days until my hols- can't wait. Happy days Bob

Good luck tonight Dave- should be a good game- as Brum are doing well as well. Four today is good for you no chance up here as it is absolutely raining cat's and dogs. But did manage to get the front lawn done before the rain came down- the remainder will have to wait for another day. Was a good win last night, in the end- first half was even- but then Rom got his shooting/heading boots on and it ended up being an easy win. Ten points on the board already only thirty more to be safe. Happy Days Bob

Thanks a lot Bob,hopefully we can get 3 more points but it will be a hard game, but good news for me is that one of my remaining Vueling A.320's EC-LRA passed over the house about 30 mins ago Edinburgh-Barcelona so that's five for the day so far.

Just made "RCH517" my first Alaskan-based C-17 00-0171/AK [AE0676] heading up TR1 to Lakenheath as the F-15 support (see separate thread).
Also, just before lunch, made "TALON799" Wildcat ZZ533 [43C76E] on its low level "Tour de South Britain". Seems to have done Yeovilton - Bath area - Melksham - Devizes - Basingstoke - IOW - and back to Yeovilton.

A couple of less common frames from Asia into Heathrow this evening that I needed. Asiana used HL7791 and the Air China A330 was B-6113 which was only just visible as the nights now draw in - just as well the sun sets in the west!

Morning Guys,
Ended up potting 14 yesterday!!! That's definitely a 'Spiersey'....
Today has been hit and miss - mainly miss!!! As a USAF C-17 slipped through the net just now!!
Anyway today's sighting are as follows, so far!!1
G-HPIN Bell 429 Global Ranger f/o 10.25 going north. D-IASC PA-31T Cheyenne has been orbiting for several hours around me... 9H-SUN A340 Hi Fly Malta (operating an Arik service to LHR at 11.20). D-ABUA B767 Condor (which I'm sure I've already seen) OTT 11.35.

Looks like the snail-eaters are still being kind to us, and diverting interesting traffic our way. Currently watching a Transavia RTM-FAO approaching Southend and heading up the Thames. Just sort out the strikes before I head to Palma next Tuesday please. Also just seen an interesting BBJ PH-AQF heading west at FL380; it will have gone almost straight overhead LHR.

Two in the book yesterday, 747-8 A7-HHE and Turkish A330 TC-JNS, both seen whilst fighting my way through idiots, traffic, and idiots in traffic at Heathrow as I started my journey north! Needed the Avianca A330 that has recently arrived, but couldn't be bothered digging it out

Bit of a mixture of cloud with the odd bit of blue in between- but very windy up here in the North but nothing changes there then. But the weekends here- bathroom finished (well almost- sink unit had a scratch on and needs replacing) but quality job-portaloo emptied- you really wanted to know that Normal service resumed. Off to Goodison tomorrow for the game v Boro- beer in fridge. So relax with the wife after a hard week at work. Hopefully will add to my eleven for the week in the next couple of days. Hope you all have a great weekend. Happy Days Bob

Missed what would have been a massive UPS MD11 gap filler in N251UP heading towards Telfords area due to cloud, but at the same time EI-FRV was going over finally got off the mark when wall to wall blue appeared and H750 9H-BSA was seen not trailing heading north. Happy days Bob
