After one of the biggest down pours I've ever seen this morning, and a soaking whilst out working, it cleared away to allow me to add a modest six to start the month off.

Made a C-17 trailing over the top of Mildenhall this morning. "RCH799" 01-0189 at FL370 routing MAM (at 08.40BST) > NAVPI. First pot since Thursday.
On the down side, 7 x KC-135, 1 x KC-10, 1 x C-17 due in today - and I don't need any of them!!!
EDIT:- Also made an LN F-15E on approach to 06 at Lakenheath 92-0364/LN red. That brings up the 50 for the trip so far.

Did anyone get to see the Dominican Republic citation HI985 this morning?. Was over near Slough in an unfamiliar location turned on FR24 around 8.30am to see it was tracking close by west to east at around 41k but by the time I worked out which way to look it had gone!

Strange how things change. Clear yesterday but made nothing, too hazy to see LHR 09 approach so missed needed SP-LIA EMB170.
3 in less than an hour this morning, F-GZNT 773 (clears that batch, still need F-GSQP/S/X which operate mainly to the Caribbean from Orly), G-JZHJ new 738 of Jet2 and N820AL 789 on the AA51 out of LHR, luckily turned south so went almost overhead....... (edit) and a fourth, TC-JVK 738 out of BHX.....(edit) and a fifth N820SY 738 Sun Country!

The new Ryanair EI-FRZ has just crossed the Channel on DUB-BRU rotation. Here's hoping the return trip is trailing, as I missed the outbound. Update - it's not coming back; its now working BRU -FCO.

After 5 quick airliners this morning (see above) made 4 bizjets this afternoon. OE-FXM C.525A inbound NLT, N902MZ C.525M2 heading for Staverton or Oxford, M-MNBB F7X WNW at FL430 and what I assume to be N737AG BBJ WNW at FL400, no reg or hex on FR24 or PlaneFinder but shown as B737-7BF, this is the only one!
Also saw a Vistajet (Malta) inbound NLT around 11.20 as VJT487, unusually no reg showing on either database, hex 4D2134 gave no hits on Google. Squawk was 2253. Any ideas?

Jerry,
FR24 and PF are subject to barring. If you use ADS-B Exchange, there is no such bar and your B737-7BF would have been identified by reg and hex.
I can't find anything for 4D2134 - even Googling it - other than that it was reported on 26 July. Sometimes, the Maltese hexcode tie-ups take quite a while to hit the databases.
Regards,
Bob

Superb day at home yesterday with the following logged:
C-CIXW E170 Eastern (Leeds - Southampton and back again) F-HSAS Falcon 7X D-AIUV A320 Lufthansa N820AL B787-9 American D-IRUP Citation 551SP 2-XAJQ/G-ISLK ATR 72 Blue islands *** N580CB Falcon 900EX N91FX Global Express F-GRHV A319 Air France (what a gap filler) EI-FRX B737 Ryanair SP-SPC ATR 72 Sprint N791AV B787-8 Avianca
*** with regards to this ATR,it flew over my house at FL200 from EMA and I assume it was going to Jersey,on FR24 it showed a Blue Islands callsign and a hexcode of EB43EF which equates to 2-XAJQ but I see that G-ISLK is allocated, does anyone know what reg it was carrying yesterday?

Hi Dave.
Think it would be safe to say it was 2-XAJQ as G-INFO does not have ISLK registered yet, and skyliner also say it was 2-XAJQ after painting to Flybe colours.
Hope this helps
Chris.

Jerry,
Assuming that your NLT means Northolt, the new thread "Northolt 06/10/16" gives us the 99.9% probability answer.
It must be 9H-VCN CL350 - c/n 20628.
It was noted as a new addition in the Maltese register update on 3rd October 2016. See maltaspotting.blogspot.co.uk/2016/10/tmdca-malta-aircraft-register-update.html.
Both Airframes.org and the Gatwick Aviation site have "Not Found" for this airframe.
Regards,
Bob

Made my very last Rivet Joint today - RC-135W 62-4139/OF.
A total and utter piece of jam. "BAMA71" was destined for AAR en route back to CONUS and not call into Mildenhall (was I cursing!!!). It developed problems while refuelling over Scotland and had to divert back into Mildenhall.

A couple of poor days for me. Just one yesterday, A6-EUF A380 Emirates on LHR 09 approach (probably a first visit) and zilch today, G-LCYU my last Cityflyer EMB has just gone overhead inbound STN but well above the cloud.

Not a bad day at all with 8 frames hitting the spreadsheets. HZ-ARC 788 out of MAN (now have all 4), TC-JTN A321 inbound LHR (now have all up to JTO, but suspect they have more on order), F-HTVB 738 Transavia France out of LTN and unusual STN visitor A7-MAE C-17 Qatar AF. Bizjets made were 9H-VCH BD.350, F-GOFX F.900EX, N770FF CL.604 and N923CL Gulf 4.
